Great video! I love that you showed the end game. This year my son and I took our first 3 tuna trips to Jefferies. We marked some fish and caught a blue shark, but no hook ups yet. What kind of rod holder do you have in the bow? Is it 0 degrees (vertical)? Seems like the best way to do battle in a small center console. Thanks.

Regardless if ones life personally, and, or professionally is a absolutely disaster there is something to be said for what a day on the water fishing can do for an individual but, especially if that day yields such a blessing to land such a beautiful fish! Congratulations

You shouldn't hold the line while the fish is running...prob why you popped the first one...the reel has a drag on it for a reason...just my opinion

There was mung and weeds everywhere. I only do that with these rods because it’s gets stuck in the rollers and when it dries they get stuck. So every few minutes I’ll wipe the gloves off. did this with the 114 incher I got as well as a lot of other ones Iv caught. That’s the only reason I do that though brotha

Don't hold on the line let ur drag do it's work u can hold more then ur drag ,we have lost fish because the guy was pumped an held the line Turn that clicker off Jesus Christ Bump the drag up u got him this far That's a rat to 60 in fish Gut hooked that's why he dint run in the beginning they don't like the pain in there guts so they don't pull hard .they come right up 20 minutes tops

Rat? 91 inches not 60. There was mung and weeds everywhere. I only do that with these rods because it’s gets stuck in the rollers and when it dries they get stuck. I’m not putting any resistance on the line only letting it run through my fingers. And wasn’t gut hooked it was right in the corner of the mouth you can see it at the end of the video. When it first hit, it ran like a mf. If it was only 60 inches Or anything close to that I’d never harpoon it in the first place. It was 91 inches and I got the slips and pictures for anyone who says it’s not
