Ah nice you went the long way. It was really impressive. I'll definitely be going back there. Took an easy day that day. I definitely want to backpack this area next summer. The primitive sites were really nice. And the ranger told me there are 2 brand new ones this year closer to Panther.

Hey thanks. I had planned on Panther only problem was that I had just 1 bag of peanuts and I was extremely hungry, haha. I was so busy during the week I didn't get a chance to grab some trail food. This was with the GoPro Hero 7 Black at 4K. It's an incredible camera and the Hero 8 Black is even better. The best vid I've shot with it was my "Franconia Ridge in 2019 4K" also on this channel. I wish I could have. Problem was I had no food besides 1 bag of peanuts. I had no chance to get food during the week. That combined with 32 degrees just made it a quick day hike. I would have liked Panther because I hear the pine forest is beautiful up there. But it just gives me a reason to go back to the ledges. Thanks for checking out the video. Cheers.

Also Kurt just FYI. Not sure if you caught it in the video but the ranger told me they added 2 campsites this summer after the ledges. So there are a total of 5 now. I think the 2 new ones are a bit further towards Panther. Which is good because those 2 sites should be less busy than those first 3. I know you like this spot so just wanted to mention it.
