Thanks for this video, I was looking for benchmarks for the RTX 4080 and this fills that need. I look forward to the ACC benchmarks since it is one of the most demanding Sims for triples 1440P

Did you have any gpu utilization problems with the 4080? Got on based on your benchmarks but I seem to sit between 65-77 usage for the most part in iracing. Weird but it only goes in the 90’s sitting in the pits after a minute or so. 🤦🏾‍♂️

The numbers sure favor the 4080 but the 3090 is no slouch. The clarity on the 3090 was impressive and certainly looked sharper to my eye than the 4080 Thanks for the vid. Good test

Jist the video what i was looking for. I have a 3080 and held out for the 4080 which i wanted to order soon so great video. One of the main reasons im changing to the 4080 super isnt just for FPS but temps look how much lower they are on the 4080. The 30 series was so hot

Did you buy finally 4080? I'm still didn't decide should I buy 4080 instead of 3080 or wait for 5080/5090...

@@Kanton-ip6en yeah I have 4080 super it's a beast. The 3080 too hot and my FPS doubled in many games at 4k I hit nearly 3000mhz on the 4080 super at 65 degrees. I had the 9900k CPU but it bottlenecked my 4080 super badly so I had to upgrade to the 13700k then I got a new motherboard so I could have ddr5 6000mhz so new pc basically but as long as you have a good CPU your good

@@Kanton-ip6en I do not stream or anything and Intel I've had since early 2000 because AMD just have to many problems with drivers and games my friend has at least a few problems each year that dont effect me so I stick with them plus

Just got into simracing. New pc build was I7 12700K 32gb corsair vengeance at 3,6 mobo gigabyte z690 gaming x. Planning triple 32" 1440p in near future. Iracing Dirt rally 2.0 and ACC should i go for 4080 or 4070TI would run on ultra settings? Not much of tech guy so thanks for any suggestions and comments Dont want go extreme budget for 4090 and 3090 is more then cars on the road 🙂 Thanks

I got myself a 3090 for 1200$ back in december, and now i see this 4080 gpu on the market around here for 1400$ shall i refund and get it ? U think is worth the 30+ fps in most games ? I got i7 12k, 32 ddr4 ram, i saw i7 12th gen n i 7 gen 13 have different performances with a 4080 as well

Unless you plan on a 4090, a good 850w should do fine. TBH, the 4080 is so efficient a 750 would prolly do. It's TDW is 320W, add another 120 for a future proof CPU and that's the majority of it. PSU's are most efficient when working at around 50-60% of their capacity. So 425-500 for an 850.

Hello, do you know the performance of 4070ti on triple 1440p? Do you think it is better than3090 on triples?

4070ti is prolly they same or faster on triple 1080p's (6 mil pixels). Triple 1440p's is 11 million pixels, that's 3 mil more than 4k. The 4070ti seems to be better than the 3090/toi's at 1080 and 1440p, but at 4k in most games, the 3090's flex due to their memory bandwidth. Just watch some reviews and pay attention to the 4k charts, like at hardware unboxed.

@@brianjones6465 thanks, that is my concern as well, but the problem is that the benchmarks test are very rare for triples. And I feel things are much more complex than how many pixels.

If not, you need to overclock your processor, because you're pretty much cpu limited even with your 3090.

@KroZen people get to bothered about overlooking. Look at his FPS why would he need tp add more heat and more power consumption when he's getting over 150fps on triple 1440p?
