Here's a complete broadcast of the Gigglesnort Hotel episode "Following Directions" (S02E17, original air date May 9th 1976; about Dirty Dragon's misadventures with a chemistry set, owing to his not doing as the title emphasized, trying to make liquid coal) as broadcast over its originating station, WLS Channel 7.
(NOTE: For you New Yorkers lurking about these parts, this series - which ran for 78 episodes, originally from January 5th 1975 to January 15th 1978, and was then nationally syndicated across the country - aired for years starting around 1977 on WPIX Channel 11, alongside such shows as Big Blue Marble on Saturday mornings. Bill Jackson and his gallery of puppets had a New York connection dating back to 1973 when he produced and hosted a Saturday afternoon children's show, B.J.'s Bunch, which aired over WNBC Channel 4, this while simultaneously handling the final season of B.J. and the Dirty Dragon which by then had moved from WFLD Channel 32 - then in the midst of a period when Kaiser Broadcasting owned the station - to WGN Channel 9, then WPIX's sister station.)

About The Museum of Classic Chicago Television:
The MCCTv (FuzzyMemoriesTV) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit whose primary mission is the preservation and display of off-air, early home videotape recordings (70s to early 80s, mostly) recorded off of TV (in Chicago or other cities now too); things which would likely be lost if not sought out and preserved digitally. If you have any old 1970s videotapes recorded off of TV please email: tapes@fuzzy.tv Even though (mostly) short clips are displayed here, we preserve the entire broadcasts in our archives - the complete programs with breaks (or however much is present on the tape), for historical preservation. For information on how to help in our mission, to donate or lend tapes to be converted to DVD, please e-mail tapes@fuzzy.tv Thank you for your help!
