The colors of the products you chose look great on you. Nice to see a more pinky/peach cheek/highlight look on you - warms your entire face up! vs. the nude/brown "sunkissed" look you're typically drawn to (which also looks lovely on you as well!). The lip color looks fab as well - love it on you! As always, thx for reviewing and saving us $$$$!

Seriously. I watched Tati review this and I was just shocked. I would never buy any of these items except MAYBE a lipstick. Astounding how much markup Gigi is getting (and the bad publicity with the quality being reported "meh" to "bad" by most reviewers.) Thanks for your super-positive-yet-honest review, as always!

Funny, this is the second video I've seen reviewing the"fiber" mascara and you both said the fibers went everywhere! Thank you for the review.

I would return those two palettes, especially the smaller one!! Normally, When u use a fiber mascara, u would put a light coat of the black, then the fiber (so it has something to stick to), then mascara again (to seal everything in).

Gigi actually does apply the mascara first, then the fiber, then mascara in her tutorial. Still, too many steps for me!

The mascara seems similar to the Younique 3D mascara which I'm not a fan of.

I don't understand the makeup artists at Maybelline letting these palettes go into production with the pans that way. Didn't they try the pan sizes out with their own makeup brushes?? I would really like to know about their criteria for putting things into production and if they think regular people, or makeup artists for that matter, will just use anything b/c it carries the model's name. Sorry for the rant! Thank you for your review--I really respect your opinion

During the whole video I was thinking of the Melisa Michelle pallette too! I love everything in there and it works for every skin tone. The Maybelline one seems to be catered to only a few skin types too... You look beautiful in this video!!

Usually you're supposed to put a coat of mascara before the fibers, then seal it again with the mascara. Hope it helps!

I think you're supposed to put a coat of mascara first before you go in with the fibers, so they will stick to it and then go over it again with a second coat of mascara.

From what you've shown us, some of the products are just re-launches of old Maybelline products! I use to own an eye liner just like that one, with the same felt tip and the annoying tendency to run out of juice. And the Maybelline Gigi Hadid East Coast Glam Fiber Mascara is just like the XXL Pro Volume mascara, which also had two sides (and got into your eyes just like the new one!). Thanks for the review! Girl I totally appreciate you keeping it real. Honestly I wouldn’t buy any of it. Too expensive for the same stuff just different packaging and I don’t even know who Gigi is. I would love for you to get your hands on some Zoeva and Kiko brand stuff I really think you will love it seeing how drug store prices are creeping up they’re on par price wise and have better quality. I would love to see a full face similar to your colourpop video of those brands.

See, I didn't even know who she was until this collection came out (mom who doesn't get out much I guess)! I got the Melissa Michelle palette on a splurge because of the great reviews and I had never watched her either. A name can't sway me! Oh, your nail color is amazing!

for the mascara with the fluff: you are supposed to sandwich the fluff. you put one layer of the mascara part on, then quickly before it dries use the fluff side. then end with second layer of mascara.

Thanks for this review and demo, Maybelline is my drugstore brand that I love and when I saw these products I was interested, but wasn't sure if the price was worth it. Now I know its not. The lipstick looks good, so I might buy some of those.

The fiber product is supposed to be applied to your first coat of wet mascara. Then you go over the fibers with another coat of mascara. They are supposed to lengthen and volumize your lashes. I haven't used it but I have seen that type of product put out by other companies. It's kind of old school. Haven't seen it in several years. Don't even attempt it if you have contacts because those fibers can fall into your eyes even when putting it on wet mascara.

I think you are suppose to put one layer of mascara then the fibers and back to the mascara...so the fibers have something to latch onto...

For the mascara, you are supposed to put the mascara on and then the fiber mascara and then the mascara again.

I believe that it says you’re supposed to use the black mascara, then the fibers, then go back to the black mascara for it to work properly..... I’m not sure but I think that was how it is intended to be used.

I loved how hard you tried to find the positive. Much respect to you for that!! The line is just a miss. I will say the lipstick is great. If anyone is curious - the wear time is very impressive. Especially since it isn't a liquid lipstick.

$30 for a drugstore palette is insane. No way if I want to spend that much on anything drugstore I'd get either one of the new NYX elements or the pixi x itsjudytime palette. They're a little cheaper and seem to be a lot better quality.

I would suggest go for Nyx. I’m not sure about recent Pixie eyeshadows but I have purchased a few of the small those rounded palettes and they are patchy and have awful creasing I haven’t thrown them out yet. I hear their skin care is better but haven’t tried. I’m loving the Warm Neutral from Nyx! Then ended up with Sugar High and Smoke Mirrors. Gorgeous all!

the mascara should be you used as followed I guess: a coat of mascara then a coat of fibers (so they can stick) then a coat of mascara. you could try it like that and let me know if it works or not

You actually applied the fiber mascara wrongly. The package says you have to apply the mascara first, apply the fibers secondly and then apply another layer of mascara and that’s how you get the best out of it

Very disappointed with Maybelline collaborating with a model that doesn't need the money or the exposure. I would have gladly supported and bought their products if they had collaborated with a little known KZfaqr that could actually benefit from a collaboration with a big name brand. I doubt Gigi actually wears Maybelline in real life, so it makes this collaboration worthless in my opinion. To make matters worse, they hiked up the prices on previously released products but repackaged. I guess Maybelline thinks their loyal consumers are idiots and can pull the wool over our eyes with their gimmicky marketing and collaboration but, this idiot isn't buying any of the collab products. Too bad they couldn't invest in improving the quality of their products. It was a wasted opportunity...smh😬

Dorian Esquivel...obviously there are professional makeup artists when she is on a paid modeling job but in her private monents, I'm sure she can reapply her own lipstick and I'm going to guess, it's not Maybelline.

Did you try to put the mascara first then fibers then again mascara? A few of fibers mascara I had before worked like that. Regardless I don't like fiber mascara; the fibers tend to fall during the day!

I wish these companies would stop giving us mostly crap when they collaborate. All these companies are doing it except maybe Becca. They figure the name will sell it. I would take back anything you didn't like to send them a message we don't want there crap. Popluxe didn't like the palette.And he tries to say something nice about everything.

For some reason the East Coast side is worse the West Coast side eyeshadows are better Nicol concilio did a video on the whole collection and I don't get why some of them look like that the other sets look like the mini City pallets more worth the money and they are bigger

Drugstore Maven yeah I don't understand it but I guess that's how she figures to do it the ones you got were a joke they look like samples for $15 so not worth it and honestly I don't think the jetsetter palette is worth it either for me $29 for Maybelline we're just paying for the name really
