@@TheBmills415 Arenas never pulled a gun on anyone. He called a teammates bluff who said he was gonna shoot Arenas, so Gilbert brought the guns for him to do it to the locker room. That guy ended up serving 23 years for murdering a mother of four. Also, it doesn't matter if the whole world doesn't like Isiah, he deserved to be on that team.

I think it was Gilbert locker room appearance & his ball dominance was the reason he didn’t make the USA team. There’s no other reason. He could average about 40pts. But the USA team already had the most athletic players and go to scores as there starting 5. There only thing was to play defense and Gilbert’s not a defensive player

Why is it “obvious” he’s leaving something out? Gilbert’s literally known for being brutally truthful & exposing a lot of BTS NBA activity. He even made a point to say how it wasn’t D’Antoni’s fault when he coulda easily rode that narrative. The truth likely is that it was a shoe conflict. Nike has had a hold on Team USA for a long time and a lot of players who were signed to other shoe companies (Dwight Howard) discussed having difficulty for those reasons.
