This thing might just be the new Elden Ring Meta... This run is part of a challenge I'm doing to complete multiple different no-hit runs with weapons that my viewers request. I am trying to complete all 40 that have been requested before 2023. So far, 30 of 40 runs have been done in the last 6 weeks.

Rules: Complete the game while not taking any staggers or damage from enemies or traps. Environmental or self hits/damage are allowed, including fall damage. There is a required death at the beginning of the game which is not counted as a hit because it is needed for progression.

@Tukak Gaming yeah, I watch Bushys videos too. But these no-hit runs with different weapons every time are insane. I could never get a no hit run in any soulsborne game, and I consider myself to be pretty decent. So doing it over and over again like this while switching weapons each time is just on a whole other level.

I've played about 800 hours myself across various (not hugely difficult) challenge runs but when I see Gino doing shit like this it's like watching an alien do some sort of math that we haven't even discovered yet

I found this meta on my second playthrough. I had lion's claw on the crozier with a bleed infusion (or occult if they couldn't be bled). The only problem with the hammer is it's so hard to see around it. Gotta use unseen blade for invisible unga bunga or use a second weapon in the offhand and swap back and forth before attacking. By the way, you, Distortion and Lil Aggy are the best FS content producers by a country mile. You have helped me no hit so many bosses - nice to have found ONE thing before you!

To be fair, he was using an incredibly powerful build, and he always does relatively tame no-hits. Although by casual standards he is an outstanding player

@@livesinbin5830 you are trying to downplay how good he actually is. you used the phrase "by casual standards" in reference to his skill level. i use the phrase "by professional standards" in reference to his skill level. by any metric he is a professional. you used the phrase "to be fair", in which i responded mockingly "to be fair to who? yourself?". i used this phrase to mock you because i believe you may be making excuses to make yourself feel better about your skill level. my comment was perfectly comprehensible, but i will accomodate for you.

I was just trying to point out the simple fact that something doesn’t automatically become impressive just because a highly skilled player did it. One thing I suppose you are right about is that I should not be using casual standards to judge his skill. I am very sorry for doing so, as it has obviously hurt your feeling and put you in a foul mood, which was not my intention whatsoever. Was using this hammer until I got to Godfrey, then respecced and used the godskin peeler for the rest of my first playthrough. You’re right, the recovery just was too slow for me. I may try again one day lol

In my main playthrough that got 100 hours the first time I beat the game. I used this hammer and ash of war and just flipped and slammed everything and i did a full strength build while everyone was on bleed builds. I had 100 strength when I beat radagon. Nice to see others use the hammer
