It's a chimney. Ants run from smoke. After the first fire they'd grab all the eggs they could and relocate.

love watching how to build a perfect hut to survive the wilderness. There are so many videos like that, it's boring, but yours makes it enjoyable because you don't kill animals to eat, that bullshit, I have no respect for that, thank you for not doing that. If times got really tough and people had to fight to survive you would not be able to just run to a shop. Wake up. That is what survival channels are trying to show people like you that are use to cushy lifestyles.
