I'm studying to get into my school's nursing program, and my (credible I might add) physiology teacher told us that the best way to "relieve" stress (bring down those cortisol levels, etc) is to find ways to release endorphins, and this is best done by exercising. This is why you may hear that a lot of people go to the gym for stress relief because exercising releases endorphins. Girls tend to cry after a very stressful event because crying, interestingly, releases endorphins as well. So don't let no man criticize you for crying ok!!! It's a legit way for you to release endorphins so relieve that stress. Another tendency that happens is that women tend to clean when they get mad (i know my mom does). And by doing this, by moving around, the brain releases endorphins so they can somewhat calm down. Hope this helped anyone!

Love what you said about complimenting yourself! The thing about eyes is that when we look into the eyes of someone we really care about we don't see their eyelids, eyebrows or eyelashes we see their hearts and souls and that's what makes them, and us beautiful :)

I totally get what you mean about the whole catching yourself. Some people don't do enough self reflecting to realize their own issues/how they handle stress/arguments/conflicts/how they might make others feel. I TOTALLY identified when you mentioned that. I do the same exact thing. My thoughts will go all over the place when I'm angry or stressed but I'll eventually snap when I sit down and breathe and break down the situation lol. I give myself some harsh talks but it works! I'll be like "ok, you're being a brat. Relax." or "it's really not a big deal. This is only a temporary situation or feeling. There are always more things to be happy about than to be sad." etcetcetc :) love you weylie!!!!! Love these girl chats

Okay, this is one of the many reasons i started to follow Weylie all the way back to the tampon days. Because she was herself and wasn't the type to be like every other youtube which makes your channel (and your blogging channel with Wah) so unique and special! I LOVE MONOLIDS! Like Weylie, you look so good with no eye makeup! Honestly, because I’m mixed, I have double eyelids and always wished I had monolids because they look so cute and because Asians usually have them so I always felt left out! We always wish for what we don’t have so we should all just accept ourselves and love them! 💕💕💕 I always love your talking videos so much & also your shirt is sooo adorable I love it 😊

As the Asian community grows under the social media aspect, I see more and more different beautiful asians, including you, it has definitely boosted my confidence because we all have the same features aka monolids, squarefaced etc and everyone looks really handsome/beautiful naturally. It helped me to be more comfortable with how I looked and I started to love myself more.

QUEEN! This video was sooo therapeutic for me, especially the question about mono-lids. Even though I do not have mono-lids, I do have one eye that seems lower compared to my other one. It’s just great to have self love and just be yourself. I’m always self conscious about it but I’ve learned to be one with my eye lol 💛✨ it’s not in my control so why stress about it

When I was in high school, my left eyelid would droop down lower than my right and it would cover my eyelid. It would be really obvious when I was tired. I watched Michelle phan’s video about eyelid tape and I went to daiso to pick some up. I was really consistent with it for a whole year and now I’m in college and my eyelids are more even looking. It takes a lot of time but honestly don’t dwell on it and before you realize it your eyelids could change!

Regarding your thoughts about you feeling like your memory has gotten worse and more scattered lately, it's not an aging thing, I believe that that's a common affliction of people in our internet and social media age. I think practicing mindfulness and meditation is a good way to fortify oneself so that we don't get pulled away by every impulse or distracting thought. Just wanted to throw that out there!
