I saw a Jerry Lewis movie where he was being a completely clumsy oaf. He kept dropping these vases and almost smashing them, but caught them with his foot at the last second. They said he spent the last week in a room full of vases purposely dropping them and seeing how to make it look like an accident, while just barely keeping them from shattering.

to all people with autism: it's okay to be clumsy, and although many people think you act this way on purpose, I don't. I have ADHD and I'm also a clumsy person, and I know how hard it can be when people think you're just "seeking attention" or whatever. But I believe you're doing your best, and remember not to be ashamed of who you are.
