I never said such big words first, because Men have often told me big words that are nothing but empty bullshit in the end. But he seemed to be the most honest genuine man in the world and I wanted to believe him so I did... fool I was... when he said them I would always return the words, I wanted to spend my life with him. But nooooope... him and his big words was gone before even a tiny pathetic year could pass. He said "always" so many times but was gone right away from my life as if he was never there, he said "I want to be with you for 70 years then 35.000 years" blah blah that he "has never been so in love before" and he was shocked as he wondered if he had ever even been in love at all as everything else was nothing compared to what he felt for me.. blah blah blah... Yet he is gone before it has even been ONE year.... he broke up with me after 11 months together... I have never been so crushed and utterly broken in my entire life. I cried and cried and begged and begged and told him he is my happiness, I was soooo pathetic begging him to be with me don't leave me.... I told him he is the light of my life, don't take away my light... he is all I want... he is a perfect man... I told him everyday in our relationship that I felt like the happiest girl in the world that could have him as my boyfriend, that he made me so happy, that he was The One, he said the same things to me... but no... in the end... he went from the warmest, sweetest most passionate kind warm loving man... to a now STONE COLD, DISTANT, SELF-ABSORBED douchebag... :'( Don't come here with your bullshit about WOMEN as if we are all the same, my love for him never wavered, I was as warm as I have always been towards him even LONG after he became cold towards me. MEN are cold to me I'll say then. I am crushed for the rest of my life because of him.... I stopped talking with him 3 weeks ago EXACTLY because of how much his cold and distant behaviour was hurting me...

Once i changed from within, realized she missed me and wanted a different version of me. It takes two healthy individuals to have one healthy relationship. She came back to our marriage and now we are better than ever before.

I don't know where you are now but if someone is trustworthy they stay. They are trustworthy as long as they do stay, but it is more correct to say a relationship you build with someone is trustworthy for that moment. Even the most unstable people have their moments when you can trust them, but the most devastating feeling is when someone has been stable and trustworthy for years, then they ruin it. The thing is, people change all the time and nobody is trustworthy forever. You shouldn't worry about finding someone as accepting and trustworthy, that's the easy part. What you should focus on is your emotions. You will be accepted, you will be yourself with another person, but will you feel as happy? Should you feel as happy with this person as you did when you were with your ex, as the same person you were? If you can say yes to that, then I assume you didn't get too comfortable with your ex to the point you couldn't even realize the little mistakes you made. Those little things accumulate, and when partners look back and can't find any major problem that may have ruined attraction. If that happened to you, you should have a bit of self-critical introspection so in your next relationship you establish a deeper bond, you can act much less naive and more mature, realize that a relationship is a living entity you should do your part to keep alive.

I'm going through it with my baby momma and recently ex fiance of 4 years. No contact isn't really an option. I'm hurting bad and don't know what to do. We have a 2 year old son together so I can't just not talk to her. She says she wants to see other people to see if she's happy. Should I just do no contact unless it's about our son?

@@DihzyHD for some reason KZfaq never notified me. No contact worked it took about 4 weeks. I was being told that she was talking about me between our friends. She was then using our friends to make me go to her yet it's like "No if she wants to talk to you, you make her come to you." Eventually things were still messed up as in though she threw the Red Flags and I chose to block her on all Media platforms I was still blamed for the Breakup. So two months afterwards she go Married and later was Pregnant. I'm glad I'm not with her she probably cheated on me and was insecure so got married to quit having bfs.

You're not alone here guys, almost 7 years for us living together and sharing our lives. About 6/7 weeks into the breakup now and we're in limited contact due to pets/moving etc.. Days are really up and down but I'm completely heartbroken, hurts like nothing I've ever felt before. @@lizp637 Yeah, that hurts bad. I saw my ex kissing a "friend" literally the day after she broke up with me supposedly saying that she did not want to be in a relationship right now. Apparently the qualifier WITH YOU was left out. (although I am almost sure it started before we officially split) The hardest part is that they just couldn't be honest with us, at least tell me what I had done wrong to deserve it so that I can work on myself! As it is all we can do is pick up the pieces and move one. I hope we can both find happiness again one day. It may feel hopeless right now but we must solider on. Best of luck dear internet friend. I think you need to move on man. I don't know what your relationship was like but I literally scrolled down the comments and saw yours from two years ago and now this one. Two years is too long to be hung up on one person. I know it is hard and scary but you have to live your life man. I was with my ex for 6 years and I didn't see the breakup happening and all my friends and family were very shocked that we broke up. So I know for me it is going to be hard to see her move on but she ain't coming back. You got to find stuff you enjoy. Read books, paint, dabble in photography, write, music, anything. Eventually you'll find someone better and you'll be better prepared.

During this time she pretended to be dating her male friend who i never even heard of anything (she made friends with him in her friend circle) to hurt me to see if i cared. Long story short after a bunch of apologies and arguements we got back together only to break up again over more petty childish fights. I was bothered because she was too "busy" to hang out with me, go on dates or anything really. However because of the little game she played (pretending to date someone else) i lost most of my feelings for her so honestly this time around it didn't hurt so bad, it also turns out she is kind of a narcissist so i dodged a bullet.

Seven months is a long time bro, I mean realistically if they haven't reached out For 3-4 months max I think you need to move on. Yes there is the chance they will reach out down the line, but after that amount of time it's best to move on and not wait around for something that might never happen.

Helps both because if they never contact you, it means you never stopped moving on with your life. But if you are waiting doing nothing, then it becomes in their favour
