@@TheLawngineer I haven’t used it. I’ve used their bountiful harvest product which I think is similar. I’ve only used it on small spots that I over seeded. They claim it does a lot of stuff with university research and they have been around for 40 years so maybe it’s works lol. I think they mainly deal with crops

Is it true granular is better if you need to change the soils ph greater? Hi Mag levels.

I’m trying to get more info on this. This will impact pH, but I’m waiting on literature that talks about how much to use, etc, the granular has more details on how much to add based on your current pH and goal pH.

@@TheLawngineer hi calcidic lime is a must to move soils I believe by a point or more. Liquid move into the Plant immediately but doesn’t move it to actually amend the soils especially when magnesium levels are to high. Farmers and turf companies are starting to folier feed and this works great for that. For long term I believe granular is the most effective

How is your magnesium level? I'm in the northeast with acidic soil low in magnesium. I used SoluCal Plus and Epsom Salts from Pennington.

This product will supply plant available calcium and chloride but will not do anything for your soil pH as the Calcium source is Calcium Chloride. Acidic soils have free hydrogen ions (H+). The calcium products that do work are calcium carbonate or hydroxide to bind with H+ to neutralize. Calcium itself doesn't really have a say in the matter.

All growing plants need calcium, foliar applied Calcium gives immediate results , as there is no established root structure if you going to complete an overseed
