I would love to have seen Glennis win too, but I don't think that she was supposed to win. She was invited onto the show by AGT and I think that she was just supposed to gain massive exposure to the American music market via the AGT platform. She would have could have "KILLED" it with one or two more Whitney songs. "One Moment In Time" for the final could have been EPIC since they always speak of having a MOMENT. Notice that she got absolutely incredible reviews by Simon Cowell with comments lie......."I feel like I am looking at a Star Already" ...Fantastic, Amazing, Incredible, Fantastic, Immaculate, This was a MOMENT etc. Howie the first audition "How lucky are we to watch you "Explode" here on this stage tonight"......OR WOW after "Never Enough" And then after "RUN "I know you have a career in your country, this stage has given you a career for the WORLD...........Heidi gave incredible reviews but didn't say too much throughout....Mel B gave incredible reviews of her voice but had a few negatives to throw in.......Such as sounding too much like Whitney......Which I get is good advice since she should be known for sounding like GLENNIS. Also note that almost all of her earlier performances seemed to be cut short with and abrupt end. "Never Enough" was selected for her to sing by AGT music. Also note that with all of the incredible reviews, not even once did any of the judges say or even hint at the possibility of winning the show. You can't tell me (nor can anyone) that Samuel Comroe the comedian comes in 4th place with Glennis somewhere between 6 and 10. It seemed like they held her back just enough so that she wouldn't win or held her back just enough so that if she didn't win it wouldn't seem too ridiculous. Look at it this way, Glennis has 2 sold out Whitney shows this October. Also another Whitney show in December. She has performances with The Ladies Of Soul' It doesn't look like her schedule or contractual ties would fit in with AGT ties at this time. Glennis said she took about a month to decide to go onto AGT after the invite. The show portrayed her as Mom who was afraid to make the big step so much so that she almost didn't come back after the first audition since she didn't want to be away from her son The show paints all these contestants with SOB stories Video of her crying etc. She's a superstar in her own country. .I could be way off base and totally wrong.............Just some food for thought.
