Welcome to the Slider Series. A set of 4 workouts that are low impact and joint friendly, but still bring maximum results. The sliding discs help you engage all the smaller, supporting muscle groups so that you get a super effective workout in minimum time. There's a mix of cardio and toning to work every muscle in your body!
This is a tough lower body workout that will take you through squats from all angles as well as lunges, knee pulls, a tough glute bridge segment. There a graceful barre feel to this workout with lots of inner thigh engagement as well as balance challenge exercises.
Fitness level: intermediate
Equipment: sliding discs (can use paper plates or rags)

Just wonderful. Such dynamic movements; it felt pretty! I prob. wasn’t pretty doing it (I was sweating like crazy!), but it felt pretty. Near the end, the move where u go into a kneel was really hard on the working leg: I felt like the lactic acid didn’t have a chance to drain out - ooo the burn!! Thank u!!

You have outdone yourself with this one. It was the most creative Slider workout I have ever done. I had to use my furniture gliders. They look exactly like the ones you have. It worked out pretty good. Can't remember when I was so work outed that I couldn't do the warm down. I had to rest for few minutes, then I did the warm down. Thanks.

I did this today to test out the new Toplus sliders!! It was so much fun and very sweaty 😂 The sliders really give a new challenge! I loved everything, but using them in bridge and the almost mountain climbers with a kick were super awesome! I will probably do the rest of the series this week even though I hadn't planned on it! I cannot wait to do the Slide and Burn Series next week! Thank you 💕💕

I can't emphasize more on this fact that your workouts are super intense and fun. All your viewers and subscribers will agree with it. You had said that you have been working out for 20+ years so I want to know about your starting point. From where did you start and when? What and how was your journey of your fitness life? Did you start with Barre, Ballet, Pilates or what?

Thanks so much!. I actually started off with the old Cindy Crawford and Claudia Schiffer VHS workouts. There was also a tv show called Oz Style Aerobics that I used to tape on VHS. Later on I started doing Tae Bo and some Jillian Michaels workouts as well as classes at the gym. Eventually I discovered trainers like Cathe Friedrich and Kelly Coffey-Meyer and worked my way through many different styles. I did a lot of circuit training with cardio and weights and eventually started barre and Pilates due to injuries. Once I found that I realized that my body prefers body weight exercises so I tried all the different trainers and landed on a few favorites that I still use today. I am always trying new things and looking into new ways of moving as well as trying different equipment to make my workouts more intense and more fun. 🤩

@@barlatesbodyblitz what's Tae Bo? Did you see your body transforming by incorporating so many styles of workouts? If you know what I mean and if you don't mind me asking!! Even though I agree that we workout not just to be slim like models or anyone but to be fit , lead the healthiest lifestyle possible and to be the best version of ourselves.

@@arunimasaha4171 Tae Bo is a workout series by a man named Billy Blanks. I did those workouts too, in the 1990s! High impact, can't do them now. But they still have a place in a workout routine for someone who can still do high impact.

@@barlatesbodyblitz Awesome that you worked out with Cathe F. I did too, and still I am a fan. I agree with you wholeheartedly that venturing in new ways of moving your body is an excellent way for optimal health, besides adopting a well-balanced diet.

Hi Linda, I just wanna say I'm so thankful for finding your channel, I've been struggling with my right knee but your workouts for bad knees are awesome, so intense yet not painful at all for my issue. I hope you never quit this channel cause it's becoming my ride or die, greetings and a big hug from Oregon!!

Started my Monday morning with this one. In fact it turned tougher than I expected, but it was sooo nice and fun and made me feel that the muscles in my lower body did a really good job. Thank you, Linda!

Ahh! I couldn’t wait to try it and I had extra time this evening! Loved it and I am dripping in sweat! Had a hard time keeping the sliders on my heels for the ‘sitting’ part, no matter how hard I tried! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Next time I will try yoga socks!

What a fantastic and fun workout! I recently did the inner thigh workout with gliders, and, although I usually love every workout of yours, I have to admit I wasn't crazy about that one. Probably because I had to push parts of the feet to the floor :D. This one is again brilliant. Can't wait to do the rest of the series!
