The Glock 22 gen 4 is my favorite glock, great gun. Love the new slimmer grip with the gen 4's, high magazine count, and low recoil for a .40. Best all around combat pistol in the world.

I have a .40 caliber Glock 22. I don't know if anyone has an answer, but when you put a magazine on the gun and you put it full, is it normal that when you put the magazine in, the slide closes by itself when you put the magazine in?

@@matilderojas6876hey! I know it’s a little late, but a lot of handguns I own do that. The lever that holds the slide open is held “up” after the last round is fired by the magazine follower. Sometimes when a magazine is seated, it frees that lever and allows the slide to move forward. It’s not a problem, it often depends on the model and how hard the magazine is pressed into the frame.

Wow... He makes it look so easy. On my gen 4 I've put over 500 rounds through it, just shooting at cards from a deck or bottles, but they are fairly close. Pistol shooting is a lot harder than rifle shooting, that's a fact. I'm quite confident in my abilities with my side arm, but watching him accurately engage those targets and hit just about all of them... I tip my hat to you sir.

Took mine out the first time and ended up having to put talon grips on it, factory grips were tearing my hands up the more I shot it. It is harder to shoot, it jumps a little more and you don't get the grip you get with a rifle.

When you got a SPONSER & get FREE AMMO by the thousands of rounds & Shoot EVERY DAY anyone or just about anyone could shoot like thst especially when the Targets are always in the same place.... HOWEVER you do have to shoot pretty Regularly to stay accurate with the handgun!!!!

First let me say, I enjoy your videos. I went out and bought (brand new) this gun (Glock 22 Gen 4). I use it for self protection. I wanted a Glock that had stopping power. I am too darn old to stand there toe to toe and fight...but I am not too old to use my Glock!

Old or not, people don't fight fair these days. Nothing wrong with having a trusty sidearm. It isn't about being tough, it's about going home at the end of the day.

@panicatthediscosuck , Well, I like Colts more than most, and I probably have much more experience with them than most, but my experience has taught me that if I want a "rough and tumble" gun I know will function every time, I grab the Glock. Not as sexy as a Colt, but boringly reliable.

I shot mine 4 times at a car that had tried to rob my house with two loaded guns. Never getting rid of this baby!

I am completely with you on this. The Glock 22 is a fine firearm. i conceal it as well and have zero issues with it. The recoil is very nice and I love the "snap" that a 40 cal has.

I have a G22 Gen 3 USA made, great gun...my favorite actually. Over 3,000 rounds and not a single malfunction.

@MegaLaidback , Any quality modern hollow point would do. The biggest variable with a defensive pistol is shooter error, not the bullet.

I own this firearm and love it. I needed something with power and stopping power. This Glock 22 Gen 2 and so far had no problems with it. I love it. Oh before I forget...I love your videos.

@LawnDawg007 , It seems to fit standard Glock 19/26/23/27 holsters I have. I don't think you'd have any problems. Of course, you might with some holsters.

@GlockKraemer, Just a little out past 70 yards if it's a handgun. With most rifles it is not necessary.

@Vergon3256 , Good, hope you told them you heard about them by watching me hammer their targets. I don't get anything from them, but they did send me those two red targets for free back a few months ago. That was nice; these hardened steel targets are expensive.

I've had other Glocks but the differences although very suttle and not very noticeable, but for the everyday Glock shooter their is a small but a difference indeed I agree. I appreciate the dedication of 100% humidity shooting! I had to move 45 bales of hay at 101 heat index recently and I could not have hit the big gong from 7 yards after that session. Impressive as always.

I know that Hickok favors the G23, G27 over the G22 and all other Glocks, or so he used too if I remember correctly. Id' like to see you shoot at standard paper targets at different ranges with the compact and full size Glocks of different calibers to see which one is actually the best accuracy for each model. (Even Baby Glocks)

Hickok45, I have been watching your videos for a while now and just thought Id say thank u, you seem to have the same opinions and views about firearms as myself,and being from the south also I understand ur views, ( Just north of Birmingham Al. ). Im a big Glock fan also and own nothing else. Their simply the best and others just dont seem to compare when your used to a glock. I just got my wife a 23 and im picking up a 22 for myself tomm. I usually carry my 30. I love them all.

@hickok45 - I don't know about that Hickok, most people find the Glock ugly but reliable and I personally admire its simplicity and actually really like the look of them.. Although appearance wise I am in love with 1911 and beretta 92 design I love the look of Glocks for some reason.
