Thanks for researching this. Also I enjoy your videos because you don’t waste our time with non-essentials. Keep up the good work 😊

I think sometimes people are jealous of our success and want to “yuck our yum,” as the saying goes. Some seem to take great glee when they find a negative to share. Of course, some are truly concerned but perhaps uninformed. Thanks for sharing this.

I was blind before I started Mounjaro. Blind toward realizing it WASN’T my fault. How about the studies showing the positives?

I have had issues with my eyes since Zepbound , small bouts of blurry vision so im not counting it out. It needs more studies. 🤷🏾♀️Im not diabetic, not enough to worry about. People in the the fb group have mentioned this before the news. Its not a negative thing, just something to be aware of. There is always a good and bad side to medication.

I had some blurry vision in the beginning but it went away

Thank you. You know what else is linked to NAION - diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol. So they have a population of people that already have conditions that would prompt use of a GLP1. Not the best population for this research, uggghhh. I want information that is out there about GLP1s. Unfortunately, most regular people wouldn't know how to read a research study and take this news at face value. Then it just spreads like crazy. I did get 1 text from a loved one with a link to one of these articles. It's very frustrating.

Thank you so much for addressing this. All meds have side effects. Our bodies react differently. Thanks for being a calming voice in the current panic.

Ally, how long have you been on the GLP1 injection ? I just started watching your channel and I'm learning alot. But I do have questions . I have lost about 8 lbs. But I'm concerned that this is pretty slow, maybe I'm wrong. I'm on my six weeks .I see you continue to drop weight I'm hoping I'm doing the right way.
@alisonbates4186Ай бұрын
8lbs is good. That's over 1lb a week average. Eli Liiy say 1 to 2lbs a week is a healthy steady loss I'm guessing you have started on 2.5mg for the first 4 weeks like everyone it's a starter dose, low to see how you do on moujaro and I didn't lose anything on that. Now you are on 5.g? For the past 2 weeks..I think it's an excellent start, and I'm sure you will carry on losing 1 to 2lbs a week slow and steady is the best way to go. Drink lots of water, prioritise protein,eat lots of fresh veggies ect good luck.

@@alisonbates4186 thanks for answering. The other thing I noticed is if I eat like a reg meal I feel awful afterwards. So I haven't been eating much ..I have been eating watermelon which seems to sooth my stomach. This whole process is definitely a learning process. You have lost like 78 lbs right? Boy I wish I was there.
