Love it your not a watch snob brother. I'm waiting for Glycine to drop the 39mm Combat sub without the 24 hours markings i think it would be a great alternative to the Black Bay 58 . I own the Glycine Bronze Combat sub with brown dial .

Been Digg'n Ashford for a few years now. Several months ago I bought a Hamilton Broadway in a similar way. Also, I've been on their mailing list for quite some time & receive discount codes periodically. Anyway, around 5 - 6 years ago I bought a Glycine Combat Sub GL0077 at Costco. Late last year I sold it. Have had seller's remorse for a while. For the last month or so I've been looking for another GL0077. Last week Ashford had it listed on sale at a price that was decent but still more than I wanted to pay. A day or two later, I received an email from Ashford with a code for an additional 10% off any purchase. I immediately logged in my Ashford account; the GL0077 was in stock & still on sale so I bought it. My final price was lower than what I sold my first one for. It's expected to arrive by Monday. ⌚😎🤙

Rec'd mine last week. Beautiful watch. Only complaint... If a watch has a date comp, it needs to be more legible. Overall 👍👍👍

I just ordered the white dial. Ronda movements have been absolute garbage now for years. Time will tell. No pun intended. For $200 I could get a Laco Miyota automatic. Which I probably should have. Once it survives a battery replacement (which most Rondas do not) I'll try to check back in.

Hello my friend. I liked this gl104x series ( except from the red version)from the first time i saw it. Unfortunately is out of stock at glycone's website. I contacted them and they have not an approximate date of restocking. Also can not find it at resellers. I would appreciate any help ❤

This watch just vanished off the face of the earth. I see a few second-hand on Ebay for $500-600 but that's too much. I knew I should have bought it when they were on Ashford for $190.

this watch costs 950 CHF ($ 1100) on a Glycine webpage. How it is possible to list it and buy a brand new one for just a $200 ? Some Invicta shitty marketinig is going on.

Beware of buying from Ashford. They don't follow good and fair business practices. They charged me a fee for a watch I returned that was defective. $10 isn't a lot of money, but it was the principal...

Okay, so I've asked this before and I'll ask it again and perhaps SOMEONE will answer: WHAT is a 'Combat" Chronograph? This is obviously a 'SpeedGraph: racing watch. (NOT that those are bad in any sort of way...) Still, you would think that if you are going to call it a 'Combat' Chrono that the bezel insert would relate to timing blasts or something similar - pulse rateometer and perhaps a omni-directional bezel with super-lume C3 or better perhaps a green dial... Please explain what makes it a COMBAT chrono?

Glycine doesn't mean "Combat" any more than Rolex means "Submariner". I am a Navy veteran. If you are a US Navy "Submariner" and you need a "Submariner" watch, that means that you are dead and your watch may of may not survive for a few days on your decaying wrist at the bottom of the cold, cold sea. "Combat" is just a name for their line of tool watches. Their automatic aviator watches are top shelf. This particular watch has a Ronda (Swiss quartz) movement. Ronda are not that decent. The movement in this particular watch can be bought for $23. I've thrown away TWO watches recently that had their 515 movement in them. You change the battery and it simply will not start. I'm not familiar with this Ronda chrono movement but I'm still intrigued and might buy one with the white dial. If this Ronda shits the bed I'l never buy another one. ETA and Citizen quartz calibers are WAY better than any Ronda. But Glycine as a company is every bit as good historically as Oris, Fortis, Hamilton, USA Bulova, and miles above Seiko. "Historically".

why is it you guys think this is a 200 dollar watch? this watch costs 950 swiss franc which is about 1000 euros!

Because I paid $199 USD for this watch and the other two that I bought brand new from Ashford. I think they are worth more than $199 but that is what I paid for all three of them. That’s why they are $200 watches.
