Love these reviews. Love Glycine watches. Always a little bit too expensive for me, but a Ronda quartz inside never did hurt any watch lover and makes it affordable. With these crazy discounts it becomes a no brainer. Went to Ashford and bought 4 Glycine quartz watches, before it runs out of fashion for these prices... Thanks for pointing me to these watches. Just bought that exact watch from Ashford. Got shipped to Ireland and was hit with 100 dollars custom tax. Even so 300 all in very good value. I normally go for automatics but hey Swiss made for Seiko money sign me up.

I have the amazing Victorinox "007" chronograph in the Silver Panda Variant and also an older TechnoMarine (Pre-invicta) Cruise Chronograph both have SWISS Ronda movements and they are Fantastic Watches/Movements for the money. And Dead on accurate like he is showing with the line-up of the markers. I love the "Fast runner" sub-dial and wish more Chronographs made today would incorporate that 1/10 sec counter. That extra action when engaging the Chrono just adds to the satisfaction of owning a chronograph IMO. Watches made nowadays with the Ronda 50 series movements tend to run between $400 and $800 depending on the Brand. Pretty Good Value for $200

Swiss Made watch with a Swiss Rhonda 5040D, screw down everything, sapphire crystal with AR, 200m WR, 316L Stainless Steel case and bracelet, beautiful design, brand name with heritage... what else can anyone ask for???? I bought it for 179 dollars on Ashford, I have the burgundy reverse panda. This is 164 euro's. It is just incredible when you realise the same quartz movement is inside a tah heurer F1 costing 2000 dollars. The quality is just amazing and punches way above its weight I tell you that one

I got one a couple of weeks ago, in blue. My copy is very accurate, it has drifted maybe 2 seconds in 2 weeks. The 200m water resistance is something I was looking for in a chronograph. Not bad for a $200 watch.

Its looks a great watch I have just bought one...I am not too bothered about the quartz movement and second hand as long as its in one of the small chronograph dials as you said...as I have quite a few automatics Omega,Tag etc and do not really want too many watches needing services. As a day to day watch I think its has great looks and the price is spot on for me.

Well, this one is definitely worth a flyer… I recently sold off 12 watches… That leaves me with a bunch of spots open in my Watch boxes… Definitely a spot for this one…!

Agree this is really good value. I have the blue version (also from Ashford) and it feels really well made. Only negatives for me are: (i) lume not so great; and (ii) the little “triangular” markers at 3, 6 and 9 aren’t perfectly aligned (I see your’s has the same problem which comforts me somewhat as I thought I just got a duff one). Otherwise I’m very happy at the price and agree it’s good value for a very well made quartz chronograph with 200m water resistance.

Can't you do a TIMED LUME SHOT?? That would be helpful when discussing the lume. If we are comparing quartz-to-quartz, I still prefer the Seiko SNA411P1 (Flighty) for about the same price to a little more because it has the rotating bezel which I also use in conjunction with the chrono function. This watch is a 'speed timer' with the tach. Any idea why they call it a 'combat chrono'?? Nice watch - but it looks heavy. Did you get a weight on it?? What is its water depth rating? 20 ATM?? Was this a Sapphire crystal WITH anti-reflective coating? The thickness is insanely thin - but it is quartz. I still wonder how heavy it is.

It's a fantastic buy. However, I've found a new sweet spot at 39mm . The older I get the further I get from over 42mm
