Got ne crying too. I was in the same place. My mom raised me by herself and I went to the Army at 18. I came home from Korea after a year and surprised her!

Korea isn't a Deployment and 2 years deployed only happened in early stages of GWOT

Same...but I'm assuming he had a super long training then went to Korea Or Extended in Korea another year after the first one and GMA just thinks it's a deployment so that's what they labeled it as Or He wasn't giving the right info to GMA
