Jeerem Means Cumins And Meerem Mean Pepper
It's a mild spicy curry which is most loved by Goans. You can use any fish like King Fish, Pomfret, Sardines, Mackerel etc.
Ingredients
500grms Mullet Fish (Shevto)
1tsp Cumin Seeds
30-40 PepperCorns
10-12 Cloves
1 Green Chilli
1 inch Ginger
7 Big Garlic Cloves
2 Dry Red Chillies
2inch Cinnamon
1/2tsp Sugar
1tsp Turmeric Powder
1Small Ball Tamarind
1 Big Onion Finely Chopped
1 Big Tomato Finely Chopped
Coconut Oil
Salt To Taste
Water As Required
(Adjust spiciness of the curry by increasing and reducing Green chilli and black pepper)
