What is that stuff your putting down for bedding? Saw dust? Or wood shavings? I’ve been using hay for bedding but it getting expensive the bigger they get. More poop, more pee= more cleaning, more hay.

My uncle's baby goat acting like cats! It grooms itself, it sits like cats and want to play with cats... The goat was injured when it was very small and cant walk...so my uncle treat it and bring it out from the ranch and they live in the box with cats.....now it starts acting like cat 🤣

In one of your past videos, I saw your daily barn cleaning and how you sort of sifted the droppings out of the shavings. This is exactly the sort of method I wanted to use. (Rather like sifting the cat litter box which I do every day.) But I can't find anything with holes that are tiny enough. Even with a leaf rake the goat raisins just fall through. I know it's not just that my doelings have tinier ones because you were doing this when your goats were young. Scooping the urine soaked shavings is easy (they almost clump together like cat litter) but I can't seem to do more than scoop up the biggest piles poop. You go through a lot of shavings this way (wasting it) but no way am I going to use the "deep bedding" method. Seems pretty gross and lazy to me.
