There's a tiny Italian island in the Mediterranean called Alicudi. It is only about 5 square kilometers large, and home to around 100 people. But these people are under attack by the island's other residents, its goats. There are at least 600 goats on Alicudi. They outnumber the people 6 to 1. There are now so many goats, that they are leaving Alicudi's mountaintop, and descending upon the human settlement. But despite all this, the residents of Alicudi don't want to cull the goats. Instead, they have started a scheme where they donate goats to people who want to provide them with a safe home.

Goats need to be tagged, either phisically or electronically, by EU standards, except those who are younger than 9 months. In this case they are tagged so the authorities can have an overview over the population and its growth. Fo not marked new owners have an obligation to register them.

This is microcosom of the larger picture in Europe and in the West. It's a miracle of things to come. Whole cities in the USA and Europe are gradually becoming extinct of human life. Age-ing, poverty driven emigration and dying family culture is emptying cities in the USA and Europe of their populations. Centuries of Western monopoly of International trade and commerce have have come to a halt through invasion of the giant economic tigers of China, Japan and South Korea. The West survives today on sheer military power and military plants which cannot continue functioning longer without sound and strong economic premises. What makes matters worse is extreme secularism that's eating deep into Western societies transforming them into belief-nothing spices. Goats and sheep are environment friendly spices if domesticated and utilised economically, but you may well see whole cities overwhelmed by rot, rats and cats. The age of Western domination is on decline. All signs point to Asia and Africa as the future economic leaders.

They are surrounded by water, the land in the Island is always green with fresh grass with a cool wind blowing. This'll make the female goats to be on heat all year round, and we all know the behavior of a billy goat. This explains why the goats population is more in numbers than the people.

Volcano island with fertile soil, mild weather and plenty of moisture raising from the sea. Goats can have two deliveries per year of at least two babies. All young ones survive and are quickly mature enough to have their own offspring. Growth is almost logaritmic. 😊

To all suggesting (local) people should simply put them in a pot: goat meat is NOT popular at all in most of Europe, except for a few regions and few specific, local dishes. Goats are mostly breed for milk, yoghurt and cheese - these things are highly prized, especially among lactose intolerant people.
