People need to starting singing the preamble to this song. The preamble is a prayer over this country and I don't even think people even knows it exists because it is never included when sung. Thank you Sandi Patty for recognizing the importance of this. IMO you have the most heartfelt rendition of this song. I cry every time I hear it.

When a soloist sings that beautiful Anthem with the spread-sheet of off notes, they're not singing it as a tribute to the country, as much as they're seeking attention too themselves for self worth and recognition. It's so refreshing for a change, to hear such a magnificent rendition of this country's most important and almost sacred tribute to the greatest, most generous nation in the world. One only has to gaze over the markers in our national cemeteries to recognize how much we, as a nation, have sacrificed to keep the world free from tyranny. What other country has come even close to that while reinstating and preserving liberty for so many millions of people around the world?
