As a long time childe main i can say he will crit only when he feels like it then the crit is on a random slime that was just on a walk 👍😑🙂😇

Just a tip Moga: In Xiangling + Childe comps, Childe is the support and Xiangling is the off field DPS. Childe applies hydro too fast for his normal attacks to vaporise so Xiangling is the one doing the big numbers

C6 fischl paired with Childe is a fun combination, more reactions that can keep up with his attack speed. I know it isn’t vaporize which is meta but its cool seeing such rapid fire damage from Childe and Oz

Childe is probably the only character in the game where u NEED to know abt proper team rotations and actually learn abt his kit well enough in order to play him properly..like the difference between an unga-bunga badly played Childe and a well played childe is huge and this vid is a Great example of that lol

childe's hydro aplication is too much for him to vaporize normal or charged attacks. What you're doing is actually vaporizing xiangling's damage which is way better, that's how this team is played

Using his range burst is more common since he gets 20 energy back after using it, but you are c2 and high ER, probably can use melee burst or actually 4 piece shimenawa with range burst. Also Childe enables Xiangling, not the other way around. His Beidou comp is also strong and really fun.

Btw his E has separate scaling on its attacks. It’s still normal attack damage. So you’re not losing out on much except some riptide dmg from not levelling his NA

You can use the strongbox to get rid of your excess Artifacts. Also Childe's normal attacks multipliers in his sword form are different from normal attacks so you don't need to level that

The team you used it commonly known as the childe national team. It's actually a team that focuses on buffing xiangling's burst and using her as dps, then using childe as a sub-dps/on field hydro applicator. You start by using bennett then double swirling both pyro and hydro then casting xiangling's burst. You use childe's ranged burst before casting his skill because it allows a guaranteed vaporize and requires less energy as well as doesn't take up valuable elemental skill duration. Then as normal you cast his skill and attack for 6-9 secs usually when xiangling's burst runs out.

Well, Tartaglia is a really technical character, because you need to know how to do team rotations, reactions with your sub DPS, and how much cooldown he still has while on other characters. Not to mention he focus on A LOT of damage numbers and AoE damage instead of big numbers (strong auto attacks + AoE Riptide from every enemy he hits), so it leaves the impression of "Idk how, but everyone died and I didn't see any big number" or that Xiangling did all the damage, while both Tartaglia and Kazuha also do a lot of damage in smaller numbers but more often. Tartaglia shines the most the more enemies you are fighting against. He is also fun outside of Vaporize meta teams, such as Electro-charged teams with Beidou / Fischl / Raiden, and perma-freeze teams with Rosaria / Kaeya / Ganyu.

Childe E (just press and swap) > Bennett burst > Kazuha burst This way kazuha will swirl both hydro and pyro, buffing xiangling and childe

I hope in the future you realize that you have to kill the “fruit” thing that falls on the ground with the pyro abyss lector because it does a crazy amount of damage to the shield

childe is definitely BEST when hes fighting a ton of smaller enemies (hilichurls, treasure hoarders, slimes etc etc) hes super satisfying to use and cd isnt even an issue half the time once you adjust :) ive been maining only childe since his banner first came out btw lmaooo

Moga, when you do eventually raise Fischl, you can try the taser comp with Tartaglia, Beidou, Fischl and another character of your choice (Kazuha or Sucrose can work just fine cuz of VV 4piece set). The energy recharge is not a major concern since you have electro resonance. If you decide to do the taser comp prepare to see a bunch of number on screen.

some clarifications moga: 1) childe's normal attacks dont affect his water NA dmg, thats just his bow stance NA dmg 2) childe NA can NOT vaporize xiangling, its always the other way round. so you went in expecting childe to vape but he applies hydro too fast for it. 3) following from point 2, you may now see how EM childe is actually not even good (unless you're going for big numbers from burst screenshots). 4) you were surprisingly so disinterested and distant throughout the entire video, your videos are so full of fun all the time. man, i do not know why but hope you're doing okay.

54% crit rate tartaglia ☠ he needs a 1:2 ratio like most other dps characters. Also he's the enabler for xiangling teams, he's not the one vaping, he attack way too fast for that. And I'm surprised you didn't try him with beidou and fischl in a taser team.

Moga, the pyro abyss herald works like the pyro cube, in a way. If you destroy that pyro thingy he puts out first, his shield will drain much faster

Yeah he's just a higher skill ceiling character. But once you get a hang of it, his team will outdamage everything. He's the only one who can help me clear abyss within 30 secs or so giving my double geo hutao team enough time to clear others. It's just, he's quite complex to understand, but I am very happy you tried at least because I have seen people just unnecessarily hate on him :(

for the 11-1 ley line defense (wave 1), the ruin cruiser that spawns on the left is almost always locked on to the monolith while the other one only attacks you. when i finally noticed it i was able to finish wave 1 with 100%.

I’ll be honest, Childe is not the character for you it seems, his gameplay is not really about big numbers, it’s more about synergy and timing, I like him a lot though

Maybe it’s just me but I’d prefer the higher crit rate with the lesser crit damage tbh 🤣 I want the higher chance to crit than the occasional higher number.

well, here's a quick tip if ur fighting the abyss fire lector: break the little fire ball near him, it will decrease his shield for a large amount

I like using the Hamayumi Bow + HoD Artifact Set because I like doing consistently damage On and Off Cooldown with Physical & Hydro Normal Attacks. (Basically all-round Childe & Limited Burst Usage) I Normally do Childe National with Sucrose, Bennett, & Xiangling or Shenhe + Yunjin in a Freeze Team along with either Diona (Cryo Resonance, Healing, Shield) or Zhongli (Geo Resonance for 15% Increased Dmg, 20% Resistance Shred, Tenacity Atk Buff, & Tanky Shield).

Moga, there’s a way to swirl both hydro and pyro with Kazuha in this comp, by doing Childe e to apply hydro > Bennett Q > Kazuha held e > Kazuha Q. This way both Xiangling and Childe can get damage bonuses.

Childe has been one of my go to characters for abyss ever since I got him. I’ve never personally been a fan of international (blasphemy, I know) so I’ve been kinda running weird teams with him, typically just Raiden and whatever supports I need for that abyss run when it resets. I’ve had a lot of fun with overvape with Childe/raiden/Kazuha/Bennett but it really requires you to have a heavily invested raiden (which I do have) Rotations are scuffed af, but it’s still one of my fav teams bc raiden e and riptide procs are just SOOOO satisfying.

A quick tip to Moga: When you switch to Childe in that team comp, make sure you range burst first so that you can vaporize nuke the enemies, then you switch to meele form and just attack at will as you've done here

With the pyro herald, if you break the thing he places on the ground, it chunks his shield pretty heavily. That's why you killed it so fast that last run, too

Little tip: After using everybody's bursts use tartags ult in bow form first itll give you almost half back and would be able to ult twice in your e duration, also n3 charged is more beneficial stamina and dps wise edit: also applies and procs riptides which is good if there is 2 or more enemies

for more E dmg you want to use polar star for more NA (no hold E) and burst you want to use thundering pulse. the way you use childe-xiangling comp is you vape xl’s pyronado, so childe’s the support here. that’s why HoD and polar star is best for him for the maximum E dmg

Quick tip for the rotation you can start by pressing childe’s e normal once use bennet burst (don’t use e after) then to a kazuha burst to double swirl to boost both hydro and pyro then burst with xiang ling before switching to tartag again

A few tips. In Childe national, Xiangling is the DPS and Childe is the support because he applies hydro too fast for consistent vaporize. Because he applies hydro so fast, it allows Xiangling to do the vaporizing. It's also kinda funny because Polar star is his BIS but you completely ignored it.

Tip: with kazuha you should try to swearl the element you're trying to buff with his e and then use Benny than use his burst to infuse it with pyro that way you get both kazuha buff and melt/vaporize

For future god mods or just fun comp to try: childe as on field applier and dps, beidou as off field dps, XQ as off field DPS and semi healer but mostly for his c2 hydro res shred and lastly can either fischl for electro resonance and dmg, or Bennett for healer + dmg boost. Other options depend on what you like: Childe beidou core with: Fischl Bennett. Kazuha (hydro) Bennett. Fischl XQ. Or alternate between all of those.

As a childe main, a small suggestion u can also use em sands on Xiangling if u have enough er for more powerful vapes

I gave test lvl60 Childe The Viridescent Hunt lvl80, half - built 2pc HOD and did 6/6/6 on his talents - he already slaps and I don't use supports/buffers. I don't even try hard enough - he does everything for me.

I'm not seeing anyone pointing it out so I'll say it To beat the Pyro Lector's shield faster you can actually destroy those fruits, they'll deal dmg to the shield and stun him. That's what happened with Childe, since he attacks with an aoe you also hit the fruit a bunch of times.

small tip for kazuha: if you can, apply hydro to his e, it gives childe hydro dmg bonus depending on his em from his 2nd passive

Just a few heads up: - Thundering Pulse prefers the N5C combo, because it doesn't buff his charged attack and it doesn't priority. - When you use Kazuha, it's better to take advantage of double swirling. First, you use Childe's E to apply strong hydro, then use Bennett's Q. Kazuha Q would then first swirl the remaining hydro on the enemy, it would also be infused with Bennett's self-inflicted pyro which allows you to buff and debuff both hydro and pyro. - With Polar Star, you should start his rotation with N1C to build up stacks. This ability synergizes really well with Kazuha, because you should always apply hydro first before going to Bennett Q anyways. - His ranged ult is almost always preferred. It's faster, doesn't eat into his E duration and since it's typically cast early, you can enjoy all of the buffs your team provides before they expire, unlike the melee ult, which you would use at the end of his E duration.

for the defense chamber, one of them attacks the ley line & the other attacks u, so u can just get rid of the one that attacks the ley line first
