Deimos is a Demigod, He’s a demigod but he hasn’t proven his skills EVER. It’s because He was a slave in his time and never got to train to improve his powers.

Kratos is just stronger than him, and is used to hits like that since he has been taking them and dishing them out while Deimos was chained up, and if you're thinking Deimos beat Kratos though, that's because Kratos let him win he did not want to fight his brother, you even get a trophy called "Let him win" after the fight with him.
