You'll pick it up." _Kratos starts throwing his mighty fists at the thunder god's face, and yet the dobber's grip on the god-killer does not falter. As they descend to their battleground, Kratos grabs him by the head and turns him to a landform, crashing him unto it before they descend and fall to their first round._ _It appears that Kratos may have found a worthy adversary. For the bigger man wasn't so easily affected by his punches, epsecially considering the god-killer is holding back against his nemesis._ _Thor's fat fingers snap, and the Mjolnir returns to him._ "That was for Baldur. Now show me this god-killer I've heard so much about!" _The lightning god demands. The blood payment between gods have begun._

Kratos the nicknamed “god killer” picks himself up off the ground attempting to fight the god of thunder, with only his bare hands. “I did not seek that fight with your brother!” Kratos protested. “I don’t care” Thor laughs in denial. Kratos tries to weaken the savage son of Odin, using only his fists but despite his efforts, the punches seem to have no such effect on the red haired tyrant. “Can’t fight without your axe? Coward.” Thor taunted. “This is the god who murdered an entire pantheon, just because they hurt his feelings?!” I’m response to those words, Kratos rushed Thor against the wall with his guardian shield, with Thor’s hammer, mjolnr slammed against it. “You know of my Past?” Kratos responded looking into the eyes of his enemy. “The ghost of Sparta thing? Yeah.” Thor said. “Then you know what I’m capable of!” Kratos yelled as he held out his hand calling the leviathan axe. “Show Me!” Thor yelled back as he pushed Kratos away in time for the leviathan axe to come into his hands, swung it into the mead gut of the sweaty bawbag, leaving only a bloody scar.

8:13 is one of my favorite parts, and I also love how it is used multiple times in both 2018 and Ragnarok. It really makes you feel powerful and amped up.

fr I use it the gym and it doesn’t disappoint. It plays in echoes of an old life but it’s a lot more laid back. The timing of this part in the game it’s self is perfect. Right after kratos snaps and let’s the rage consume him. U can really tell he’s almost at the breaking point of becoming the god he once was and that part of the song perfectly compliments it.

Can’t describe how much I love that part. I have an itch to watch it over and over again. Same shit I have with heaths parts in the dark knight. Just the facial expressions of kratos along with his grunting. Knowing he was a second away from losing control and being consumed by his rage.

Some lightning based character are depicted as speedy, the others are quick in its attack spd, slowly making huge dmg by attack combo Thor howerver is just brute force of lightning. Heavy and certain to hits its enemy

Thor seems to be both he can move at eye watering speed and hit like a godly truck at the same time. It makes sense considering the fact that having a rather slow or "drunk" personality and physically looking borderline obese logically shouldn't dictate an actual time space and physics destroying flesh and blood god's speed and strength. In other words Thor is Lightning itself; immeasurably fast AND strong at the same time.

@@sihyun1925 highly doubt that fromsoftware has never won a GOTY soulsborne game other than sekiro but that game is already very different from the rest of the soulsborne games that being it actually has a narrative story compared to other soulsborne game where most stories are told in lore. GOW 2018 released and it sold a few million copies while RDR2 sold almost double of GOW 2018 and yet GOW 2018 still won the game of the year remember 2018 had the godliest game releases it had spider-man RDR2 and GOW 2018 and a few honourable mention GOTY seems to always favour narrative story games

Between Zeus’ theme and Thor’s theme I can’t decide which one hits the hardest as both Soundtracks are amazing in their own respectful properties! 3:53 made me search for this theme. Shit made me feel the weight of the battle, and how legendary of an event it actually is (a retired god of war vs a god of thunder i mean cmon now) pretty much sent shivers all over my body. I'll never forget that i felt such an out of world experience from a damn video game. Gow ragnarok is more than a game man, it's fckin art.

Just layered this theme over The Stranger fight from the last game and 6:20 accidentally lined up perfectly with Kratos breaking free from the rock and pushing Baldur into the giant rune stone all the way until about half way through that phase of the fight. Fucking amazing.

Best version out there. Not the most complete one now, but the most consistent quality vise, not overly long and repetitive, and still has important parts. It’s interesting that intense part of phase 3 consists of choir-less part with some choir mixed in. Those 10 seconds of chanting are important for setting the tone, as well as keeping the rhythm intact. I’ve listened to mjolnir mix, and the same part isn’t as good without opening choir. And closing choir just seals the deal, so to speak. All in all, great job, mate.

Just went back to him and the fight only theme is about 2m long and has a 2nd deeper part of the first part.

@@keepitkool1620 Doesn’t it continue to loop back into itself? At least during the part after Kratos stabs Thor with his axe, which is where the music gets a little more upbeat but still continuous.
