Take a look at this brand new God of War Ragnarok trailer, that sees Atreus and Kratos meet a whole host of new characters, including Thor, as they prepare for war. God of War Ragnarok launches on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on November 9, 2022.

It seems like Kratos is becoming a better person, like when Odin says it that nobody ever prayed to him, and them comes the scene where he is running with someone in his shoulders, and after the sceane of him in the water with Atreus, showing that he is helping the others

This trailer perfectly shows the right amount without spoiling it. Im really looking forward to the bosses we will encounter/fight in this game as well. I hope they have a lot since Kratos killed most of if not all the Gods in the past 4 games but someone please let me know since im not too sure but I’m sure theres thousands of more other important gods like we saw in Thor Love and Thunder like the God of dumplings 😂🥟

There's many more asgardian gods they could encounter, like Idunn or Frey. Surtr would definately need to make an appearance as he's basically the main character in ragnarok, being the one that cleanses all the realms in fire. Hela might show up, or might be teased in the end credits along with a baby jormundgandr and slepnir. and of course, since we have skoll and hati, we have to at some point run into the big bad wolf himself, Fenrir.

God, I remember the epic final fight between Kratos and Baldur, with Jormungandr and Zombie Thamur in the mix, now I can't wait to see how epic Kratos vs Thor will be, maybe Jormungandr and perhaps Fenrir will be there too! Also these lines tho.. reminisce of the old games! "Death can have me when it earns me" = The hands of death could not defeat me! It's fantastic to see that Santa Monica studio didn't hold back to make epic breathtaking moments for this game 🔥. They really listened to feedbacks of their fans and delivered: More enemy variety, evolved satisfying gameplay, ambitious story telling, masterpiece soundtracks, better graphics, seemingly more quality boss fights and specially many breathtaking moments. Instead of purely going the way that THEY wanted ( like many game developers ruining beloved games by going a unnecessary deviated path ), they decided to consider what FANS want as well. I hope this comment could make it to the top so they can see that they gave us everything we expected.

@@chadwickdavis8529 He doesn't necessarily have to show up. Remember that the axe is imbued with the world serpents venom which in the lore the cause of Thors death. Thor doesn't die during the battle with the world serpent but after it and I think they'll parallel the lore onto the game in a different way. My theory is that Thor will fight Kratos towards the middle-end of the story and will die of the poison the axe is imbued with after the fight with Kratos. It's been set up since the last game how Thor will die I suppose the question is how will Kratos come out of the situation

I think its odin who was at the door..and "in your lifetime does anyone ever worshipped you? anyone prayed to you? " Will be the dialogues at the end of this game when odin comes to fight. Now that ..my friends is a pure craftsmanship. Also, I’m curious as to why Kratos doesn’t have his Chaos Blades in the scene where he fights Thor. Idk if Tyr has them at this point because when him and Kratos clasp hands, Tyr is holding one, or if they are actually, finally destroyed. I doubt the latter, but it would be crazy if they were destroyed in this game

I'm very happy to see what they've shown here. Most importantly that we will seemingly save Freya AGAIN & still have to defeat with the Valkyries we've freed from torment as well but in the flesh. My #1 most hyped Single-Player release this year.
