I understand what you're saying. I've been through a similar situation. I walked so closely with the Lord at one time, then fell away through fear and deception; but the Lord is restoring our relationship and I am getting to know Him all over again and it is wonderful. Stop looking to hear voices and get into His Word. If you were truly born again and God's Holy Spirit has indwelled your spirit, He has not left you. Jesus said, I will NEVER leave you NOR FORESAKE you. He also loves you. Read the parable of the Prodigal son. The Father was waiting for his wayard son to return and when he saw him on the horizon walking towards the house, the Father ran out to greet him. Can you imagine our "Daddy God" doing that for those of us who fell away and decided to return to Him? That's how much He loves His children. While witnessing to you, I'm being blessed and fortified myself again! 😄 Stop looking for emotions and feelings and get into God's Word. Also, stop worrying and fretting. Relax! Spend time with the Lord and talk to Him about your situation. God loves you more than you know. God doesn't want us to get caught up in emotions or feelings. He wants us to believe what His Word says about who He is. God wants us to stand upon His Word! When His Word pops up into your memory, that is Him speaking to you.
