The fact that Goku saw that Trunks was going to falter when he put the sword in front of his nose and when Goku knew that he was going to stop says that in SSJ form Saiyans can sense emotions on a deeper level from their opponents that's why Goku was able to see it with Frieza as well but Frieza covered it up with ego and resentment

Trunks' transformation in this scene has always been one of my favourites. Just flipped that switch so easily and showed how much control he had of it, which really surprised Goku.

You must be on cloud 9 man, because there’s so much more to come.🐉🔥 When i watched this episode for the first time, my teenaged mind couldn’t handle how badass it was to see Trunks and Goku meet. In the 90s, you only saw Trunks on t-shirts, trading cards, posters and the ocean dub intro. So it was like we were finally in the future. (Pun intended) LOL 10/10 episode.

Another fun fact: the dialogue in the English version of the anime is not very faithful to the manga or the original Japanese (the data about the instant transmission is wrong, it's like the name suggests, not speed of light). Saying it for continuity.

Well, it’ll be soon when your gf meets ssj2 gohan. Hopefully she doesn’t read this. Honestly bulma and Goku were a better match imo. Goku doesn’t go with chi chis nagginess. Bulma supported Goku more throughout the series, the only thing Goku and chi chi matched on was their pure of heart

I know that this comment might not reach you guys in time because even though this was posted today, all of your videos were pre-recorded ahead of time, but I think after you guys get to watch episode 134, you guys should react to and post the Dragon Ball Z special "The History of Trunks", unless you guys already recorded that. I also think you guys should have watched the Dragon Ball Z special "Bardock: The Father of Goku" after the episode in the Frieza saga that Frieza kills Vegeta followed by the special "Episode of Bardock", even though that OVA special was made 15 years later and never had an English dub release, it's still worth watching to see the after-math of that movie as it does not interfere (have spoilers) with any of the other episodes. There are many of the Dragon Ball Z movies too, but none of them are canon to the actual main story so whether you choose to watch them or not, they won't affect the continuity of the main story, but the History of Trunks shows you what happened in Trunks's timeline from his perspective before traveling back in time to fight Frieza and meet Goku. Timeline wise, it would make sense to watch that special next after this episode (122), there is a reason I recommend waiting until after 134, but now that I think about it, I think watching it after 122 might be okay too as watching it after 122 might cause some necessary confusion. There are many KZfaqrs out there who all specialize in specific areas of the Dragon Ball series and franchise with Geekdom101 being the most informative about Dragon Ball news and knowledge on it's creation concept and the people behind it. Oppai Senpai is a theorist, SSGoshin4 who is a friend of mine mostly specializes in collecting figures and does shorts that include fun little tid-bids, but even though I have not yet covered Dragon Ball content on my channel as of yet (I hope to soon), my area of expertise is everything in the lore of the in-Dragon Ball universe, it's history and such. One of the most egregious dub errors in the entire series... Instant transmission is instant. There's no speed of light, and realistically based on feats they should already have no problems with the speed of light in short bursts, sure not long distances but still.
