I bought a tube of Buffalo's over the weekend. My neighbor works at an LCS and he said that was a gamble buying when spot was just under $28. Can't wait to see him when he gets home tonight.. lol Spot is showing over $29 on SD... either way, don't care if if moves up or down, I'm not selling it anytime soon. It's insurance.

Premiums are high. I go for Constitutional silver for my fractional. Much more affordable. Last purchase was at $18 per dollar face and before that $16.50

I’ve been to 5 gold shops this week. 4 run out of bars, 1 was closed.

Costco had 50 gold bars yesterday morning. I called at 4:00 pm and they only had 2 left. I drove 20 minutes and when I arrived they had been sold out for 18 minutes. I will have a video out Monday with the full story.

Prior to '33, very few people would have carried gold coins in their pockets. Gold coins were used mainly to accumulate wealth and to make large purchases, such as to buy a carriage, or a horse, or both. What was in your pockets were silver coins.

question: if gold is going to be pegged against a block chain what about privacy ... everyone on the blockchain can tell what you have

If that happens I don’t see it being pegged to your gold but to hold in a sovereign vault. It could be a hybrid system where physical as well as virtual gold is taken as a form of money. If they try to put your gold on a blockchain, then that requires some kind of registration. Would you let the gov register your gold?

I wouldn’t if you have a choice. The recognition of the coin would be more beneficial in selling to an LCS, other people, or for barter in SHTF. Will you recover the full premium difference, probably not but if the price is multiples higher does it really matter when it ends up being 1% or smaller difference? What would you pay with?

Fun to have a set, if you live in a state that takes them they are fun to transact, otherwise they are expensive almost double spot per ounce. With that said, as long as gold back is around they buy them back at the exchange rate. So it’s really not that bad. They keep going up in value. Could be good for a bugout bag.

It’s as if we are being programmed to expect a major world wide one any day! What kind of people stack silver in the UK? What’s their motivation?

The only people I have come across that stack are people I have worked with that come from different countries like Poland, India, Romania. They have a better understanding than the British. No they are not tracked as far as we know. Transactions maybe, depends on how you buy them. Could they have unique identifiers on the coins, possibly, but not proven. I do sell software after all. It is my day job. You have many options out there. Miles Franklin is one I’ve only heard good things about from many people. If you’re going to use them, setting up an account now is sound advice vs when the mad dash comes.
