I hope you find this video useful and saves you money. As a small creator I only post content that I can see has not been widely covered before. It would be really great if you could help with buying a coffee a week by subscribing to my channel and watching another one of my videos.
Review and step by step review of restoring the clear finish on the headlight lens of a VW Golf mk5 using the AutoGlym headlight restoration kit purchased from Halfords. I had to change the headlight so purchased a cheap one and saved a packet by restoring it to it's former glory

Really nice vid, Just got one of these kits, would you be able to do both headlights with one kit or just the one?

Hi, great video thank you. It obviousely depends on the weather etc... but how long would the final result lasts? Some say, that after that you need a UV coat to make it last. I am just trying to pick from your experience. Thanks again and happy Easter.

I haven't put a UV coat on them, 6 months on and still clear, I also believe if you wash and wax the car that gives some level of protection. Also being in the UK UV is not top of the list for hazards, would be nice to see a little more sun!

Maguiars kit comes with a uv protector finish otherwise fogging reappears after a few weeks.

This has lasted all summer with no UV damage, guess it depends where you are, UK does not get that much sun!

mines never turns out like everyone else.. i don't get the chalky finish after the sanding

I think it may be just time. Make sure you go down each grade slowly. It starts to look a lot worse before it gets better. time more time with the finer grades and you should get a good result
