Loved the video... after a few years off I've decided to get back into golf in 2023 and found your channel. I enjoyed this video because the youngster struggled a bit and needed some coaching which in turn gave me the viewer valuable gems to learn from as well. Thanks for the video!

Hi Mike got a question for you. My home course 18 th hole has a very steep uphill chip if you’re short of making the green. It’s giving me fits! I either leave in just short of getting on the green or go way past the pin. What do I do???

Can I ask what the grip pressure should be? I have a tendency for my left grip to tighten on the downswing causing a chunk. Could this be because my focus is in the wrong place?

The grip pressure in the short game should be around four or five out of 10… this will allow the club to do more of the work and will help us maintain rhythm…. The grip does need to get stronger more like an eight out of 10 when you’re hitting out of the sand in a bad light or if you’re hitting out of the rough!
