I will have to try this, my experience with trying to bow my wrist has created a closed face at impact which leaves to a low flight ball to the left. Which sounds like from your video that my wrist and club face angles don't match.

I’ve done just about everything to stop cupping (extend) my lead wrist. I’m in a good position half way back but then at the top my wrist cups and I over swing. 4mo and 5k balls and it’s still there, esp on the course. Not sure what else to do except learn to play better with it

I had the same problem and I did this: I took a paint stir stick cut down to around 8", and put it on the top of my lead hand underneath my golf glove. Push it up to almost your knuckles. Then really tighten your glove around it. You're basically making a splint that you will definitely feel when you try to cup your wrist. Give it a try, really helped me.

@@JGunitdoes it feel natural for you to hinge your wrists straight now? What kind of shot shape do you hit? I have this exact issue of solid 1/2 takeaway then I cup and have a long backswing. I used a strong grip to control the club face for a while but just wanna switch to a neutral wrist and grip.

Hogan was definitely cupped at the. top. of his backswing

im working on this an all my shots are now going to the left. I have a strong in/out path and clubface is usually several degrees closed. are my arms outpacing my body turn? even my small chip shots go left unless i intentionally stand very open to the ball and open the clubface a bit.

Watched your great "swing the clubhead" and forearm pronation videos, but confused when I watch other of your videos like this one where you dont seem to demonstrate any swing or forearm rotation, but rather what looks like the arms push and body rotates (8min mark here). Would be grateful for some clarification. Thanks Kerrod

EXACTLY! It seems very confusing - this is taking the whole concept of the lever-pivot out of the golf swing - is that really what's supposed to happen?

Not at all what I'm looking for. Halfway down, my club is pointed to 12 o'clock causing an outside in strike. I need to get my club pointed on the plane in the downswing.
