So no kidding, BEST video training EVER! I was at the range practice driver today, and started strong but slipped into my typical slice/hook all over the map routine after 5 balls...same story for 5 years! Remembered seeing thus video clip, so stopped and watched the whole thing in the middle of my bucket. 10 minutes later, i hit 30 straight drives right down the gut! Even changed the angle off the mat for each of the last 6, and literally could not miss! Todd, your training is fantastic!!

I can't thank you enough for all of your content in this channel, I'm not exaggerating when I say the people in my local range is stunned becaus eof how well I hit the ball since changing to t the single plane swing. I don't understand why this is not the ONLY method being taught to beginner golfers; Things have become so simple and I'm hitting bombs down the range. P.S Yes, I do see some people rolling their eyes when I set up, that immediately goes away after I strike the ball though :)

This is the best video on golf I've ever seen. I've never felt so stable or hit the ball as solid as I am doing wright now, I wish had known about this setup 20 years ago. the slice I've always had has disappeared and my drives are now going in a straight line, only problem I've got is I am pulling it every time. just need to figure out whats making it go left.

I had this problem too but I have figured a few things out for myself to compensate. *(Trail hand) the small pad at the bottom of the index finger should face the target. * Close your torso slightly more at address. * Tilt slightly more forward at address * feel like your using your arms and shoulders more than legs in downswing to impact.

Hi Todd, I have been looking at a lot of Moe's video clips and one really caught my eye in him showing the camera how worn his right hand was resulting with him hitting so many golf balls, but also him pointing out to the camera that he holds the club with his right palm and not his fingers, a subject in which you have not shown us! I am really into this one plane swing and it is working for me most times! But like you when you were interested in Moe's swing and asking him so many questions, I now feel that I am in your shoe's and I want all that information/tips in how to swing like Moe! I tried the address is shown in the video today. Its kind of a "pre-turn". Cold day here, hitting off the mats but that really seemed to help. At this point I am extremely happy I'd tried and am now using the single plane swing.

Just finished up my first session using Moe's Swing Set up......Instant results! Over 70% were straight as an arrow and maybe a 15% reduction in carry distance. Off a tee or on a poor lie it didn't matter...although I found hitting my Hybrid Launcher very hard as it requires a more sweeping action and less drag along the surface. Still working out the kinks and hopefully splash some greens this sunday. Thanks Todd for picking up Moe's Torch!

For anyone trying out at home I found the Grip, Shoulder position and Ball position slightly towards the heel to be the most crucial elements to introduce into you're current swing before making a full transition. I also found this method to not be as productive in the short game..could be lack of practice...but I found this swing lacks feel and weight within 10-20 yards.

Ive got 3 questions. 1. I have the ABT Trainer. Besides lead foot flare and stance width , should my feet be square with all clubs. Or starting with 6, 5i do i start to drop my right foot back as clubs get longer? 2. Do you try to hit the inside of the ball or swing down target line? 3. On the downswing do you pull with left arm or push with right or both?

Really enjoying your videos Todd. One question : at the end of your video, where you show the club head position behind the ball, it appears that the face of the club is open to the target line. Is that the case or should the club face be square to the target line? Cheers.

Always square. It may appear open with the camera or given the side bend with club beneath the nose. But always check that the face plate or grooves of the club face are square to the target rather than looking at the crown or top of the club head

Question: The visual of the left foot being between the arms at address, would this be the same visual if you were address with a, say, 7 iron? Or with the ball slightly further back do you lose that visual?

I cannot fully straighten my lead arm due to an elbow injury when i was younger, is there anything i can do to still be able to implement the single plane setup? This swing makes total sense to me but can i do it with this problem?

I’ve been working on developing this swing. Irons have been pure but still struggling with the big stick. Still feel like I’m coming over the top and still feel that I need to work at turning that lead arm to correct the slice. This video should help me set up better and the grip should also help. Thanks great vid.

a question: does your right elbow hit your stomach on the backswing or is it on another plane? We know that it hits the stomach on the way forward.

i like it. Very comprehensive. Occasionally, my left side has taken over the down swing and not waited for the right side to turn causing me to create a savage hook (if that make sense). How can i prevent this.

Trying my best to make all this work but struggling to do so with any consistency. When it all comes together it’s great but quite difficult to do swing after swing at this point. This video was well done, however, and hopefully will help. Thanks.

Len great to hear you’re having some success with it. As far as getting consistent, trying to make swing changes without feedback or coaching can present challenges with feel vs. real (what you feel like you’re doing versus what you’re actually doing). That’s what our online coaching is built to achieve for you-the guarantee that you are getting the Single Plane address position perfect and training the swing correctly. See how our coaches can help you at this site members.singleplaneacademy.com/gold-start-here/ Also, if you’d like to get more information, we’re hosting a free webinar June 12th about the formula for success with the Single Plane Swing. You can register to watch that virtual event here moegolf.co/formulaforsuccess

Mr TG gd am. Regarding the knees,are the knees needs to be straightened 100% or bent slightly? Tq.
@GravesGolf
@GravesGolf 3 жыл бұрын
Knees should be straight but not locked and bend from the waist. You also should ensure you have clubs that are fit perfectly for you and the single plane swing

I'm terribly confused with whether or not the blade is square at address or not as I've seen conflicting videos. My original understanding was that the blade was square but just looked open as you were already 1ft into your backswing. However there was a conflicting video where Todd got a ruler out and showed even in the backswing it was dead square to the ball?! Can you please clarify what is actually happening as I've seen other comments too regarding this and I think a lot of us are getting confused!. As always really appreciate the content and support you guys give! Many Thanks. Tim
