Dang, that was fast! I had a subscriber reach out and express interest in the Harley Davidson Sportster 72. Long story short, he came out to look at it, and after consulting with his better half, decided to buy the motorcycle. Meet the new owner and guess how much I paid for the bike, and how much he bought it for.

I'm 56, I rode a 2007 GSXR 750 on street & track for yrs but decided to make a change as Dallin did & also bought a Sportser & absolutely love it. I miss the 750 but you can still have a lot of fun street riding with a Sportser so I get where Dallin is coming from & my wife was also happy that I made the switch. Sport bikes, cruisers, it's all good fun, just know your limits

Dude, I totally space it! I'll do it at some point, but to keep you from waiting, here you go: I paid $4600, sold it for $5100. I could've gotten more but hooked him up cause tires were still originals and he was going to get a passenger seat and pegs for his wifey. Had I been patient, I think I could've gotten $5500 - $5800.

People say sportsters are for girls, well they sell and thats why they still around, a lot of men must love them. I think they have been around since the 60s or 70s i could be wrong. Get a vmax next.

Yeah, it changes it up for sure. Takes away from the old school style. I still dig the 48, but two different looks no doubt.

I guess you paid $4800 and sold it for $5500. Await edit. Edit: I really don't care what others riders ride. Its a personal thing. As long as you ride its cool. That bike would not suit my needs in any way. Too tall handlebars, too low of a seat, low HP and heavy. Cool to cruise on but I have nowhere for that. Only nice curvy mountain roads with minimal towns. Nobody cares what you ride when there is nobody to see it!

I think I paid $4600. Ended up selling it to a sub for $5100. He eventually sold it for $6k. Lol.
