Anyone who says a band has 'sold out' was never a true fan to begin with! It may not be your type of music but they are still amazing and your type of music or not if you were ever a true fan you'd be able to tell that! Bands change just as people do.. can't expect them to stay the same forever!

I mean Joel is a father now, married to Nicole Richie. If you don't like it then don't watch it but its their band not ours. If you gotta problem then you make music. I think the reason so many people have a problem with the change in GC's music is the fact that, when music changes, normally it grows into something more. Something deeper. Something adult. It feels like I've grown up and gone forward and they keep going backwards. They used to speak to the "losers" make them feel like they had a place. They used to give the kids who felt like there was nothing to live for something to relate to. Now they only sing about the shit they think will sell records.

I love how u people on here say that Good Charlotte sold out or they are not punk anymore, I still listen to Good Charlotte even though they have changed, I have all their cds and I still listen to all of them, I love how they have changed, I love how they have grown up, they still sing about their lives and everything, they have just grown up, they are all in their 30's do u think that you would want to still be doing the same things that you have done back in your 20s, I didn't think so.
