FIRST OF ALL, I deeply apologize for the very long hiatus. I've been gone for over a year. Life happened and had to prioritize other stuff first.
SECOND, I apologize again for the mess of art styles. The reason it took me this long is that I lost all of my progress for this animatic and it took me a while to recover some of it. My files got corrupted and those that I did lose, I had to draw when I found the time to do so. That's the reason for the different art styles.
THIRD, I'm just freaking glad this is finally over lmao. It was depressing back then when I lost everything I worked on in this animatic lol
AND FINALLY, YES I had thought about doing the version where the dialogue from the musical is included, but after the mess and copyright issues from my 'Anybody Have A Map' animatic, I've decided not to, although I really wanted to. I just wanted to be on the safe side. (ALSO YES, THE MUSIC HAS BEEN PITCHED DOWN TO AVOID COPYRIGHT SORRY)

Notice how alot of musicals talk about stories. Dear Evan Hansen: Tell me how I can change this story. Hamilton: You have no control of who lives, who dies, who tells your story. Matilda: The endings are often a little bit gory, I wonder why they didn’t just change their story. Be More Chill: Out of all the characters at school, I am not the one who the story’s about. I was listening to the DEH soundtrack and when this song was over my mom said, "I think that was sarcasm." I wish I could see this show, but there's to much cursing in it. But, I'm still obsessed with the soundtrack and animatics. This was one of the best.

There's like 3 different deh boots with 2 different casts (one is just with an understudy) plus 20 different audio boots with different evans, zoes, alanas, jareds, etc

I love how Evan feels so trapped in this like the way he is framed at 1:52, between Alana and Jared’s shadows with the high camera angle showing their judgement. And how his attempts to break free only shatter his world of lies and bring him into another trap, between the three and Conner. Really good job on this.

The entire thing is just so beautifully drawn, the expressions, the propprtions, the shading, the symmetry, everything. the first time i watched it i was on the street and when Jared showed up i DROPPED my phone. its very very safe to say ive fallen in love with your Jared

Ok first of all, HOLY SHIT THIS IS THE MOST AMAZING SHIT I SEEN IN DEH FANDOM. I mean, your drawing and art style is beautiful, obviously. But your animatic is so beautifully planned! Its not plain or flat at all. Its full with descriptive shots that explain so well about the story. I havent seen deh, and i havent listen to all of their song yet, but i seen so many Good 4 You animatics and hands down, yours are the best! I understand bout this part so well after watching your version. The symbolics in some parts are so painfully brilliantly beautifully drawn. The part of papers haunting Evan's mind is my absolute favourite!! And i love how u put the efforts by adding backgrounds, And the way you narrated the situation by it (the living room, leaving the house, stuck in a box and all that stuff) You narrated it so cleverly and beautifully.. And the expressions!! You nailed it. The anger, the guilt, the sadness, the confusion, the disappointment... its pain me to see Evan in this vid Also, i love the fact that you draw lot of different camera perspectives. Some parts gave the animatic more impacts. And It shown the character's feels or situation so well!!! And lastly, why the hell is your Jared version looks so fcking attractive? Let me marry him pls.

Am I the only person who notices the orchestra at the end of this song? i forgot what the actual bowing is called (I'm in orchestra but I'm not as good as the 1st or 2nd chair students, me and my stand partner are 3rd chair). I guess as we can see from Evans perspective we can’t help but feel sorry for him because we kinda understand where He’s coming from even though he did something incredibly bad. The other characters don’t know how he feels so can’t sympathise with him... but we can. I guess that’s why we feel bad for him but sorta feel like he’s to blame.
