G-Eazy's first album (These Things Happen) hits super differently to me too. Far Alone (until they got E-40 to ruin it) is so nostalgic to me now, and overall the whole album is just atmospheric and has crazy vibes to it. But yeah, unfortunately he fell off a cliff after When It's Dark Out.

I really like invasion of privacy too. Be Careful isnt so much soft as it is subdued (compared to Cardi's usual) and I like how it is scathing while also being kind of laid back and matter-of-fact. It makes me feel like Cardi is so sick of the man she's rapping about she can't even be bothered to get worked up about it.

I personally enjoy all of carti's music but WLR is miles ahead anything else he has released (imo). I appreciate the experimentation and its an album that just gets me hyped as fuck. Honestly one of my favourite album, having WLR on this list is a holy W (though I disagree that carti is a "Bad rapper".

in my opinion The Beautiful & Damned is also a good listen, even though it's more poppy and sounds like party music for people that get drunk in tv show. I just like the album 😅. It just gives the feeling that G-Eazy was drunk and high (which he probably was) on everything while making it And for Montana his newest album Coke Boys 6 is decent with a small mix of different styles of raps

I’m so glad to see someone else rep “When It’s Dark Out.” I saw G-Eazy in 8th grade touring for that album, always thought it was good but definitely got a bit self conscious for liking it when I was how bad and corny he became lol but I still really like the album, can’t listen to it too often tho so not great.

I personally like a fair bit of Gunnas discography but I do agree that Wunna is by far his best album. Its honestly one of my favourite modern Hip Hop albums, normally i favour a lot of heavier/more upbeat music but the laid back, breezy smooth vibes of wunna is just amazing. Also for me the deluxe is the only way to listen to that album.

Listening to every French Montana project, you have to listen to the ones not on streaming, that's where some of his best work is. Mixtape French is so much better than album French. The project with Waka Flocka as well as the Coke Wave projects with Max B are great.

The thing about whole lotta red is kanye doesn’t get enough credit as the executive producer. If I remember correctly months before the release of wlr he was thanking the features on twitter and when it was released they were nowhere to be found.
