Love watching you with your grandparents!! My grandfather, Papa Joe, was also born on July 4th & we always had big celebrations too!!! Brings back bittersweet memories!! 🤗He had Alzheimer’s the last couple years of his life. Cherish every moment!! 🤗

I can still get choked up 😢 I'm the same way after grocery shopping, out to eat sounds so much better than cooking.

All these recent Bates videos about the farm are so touching. It makes me feel so nostalgic about my and my husband’s grandparents and farm life. What a wonderful time of life it was for us, and I know it is for your family also! Watching your children at their young age helping with the groceries, was very cute. It’s also quite fun to see your excitement about the pool; in fact seeing your enthusiasm for life is enjoyable! One more thing-I must comment about pool safety like many others on here. Alarms for the house doors that lead to the pool and an alarm on the gate to the safety fencing around your pool are so important. Little children and other family members and pets need to be protected from pool accidents. I don’t know if you have neighbors close to you, but occasionally kids wander off from home and endanger themselves on someone else’s property. Of course people should be watching their own kids, but sometimes little ones do the unexpected! I know zero about property insurance and liability, but I’m sure you guys have thought about that. Please take every safety measure you can , like a small protective fence around the edge of the pool for the kids. Pools are wonderful, I grew up with pools, but even if they take swimming lessons, water can be very dangerous. Have fun with your new pool. You are blessed to have one.

I am sitting here in a puddle of tears!! This is so sweet! My Pawpaw was taken from me in 2022 and struggled with dementia for years! I took care of him for years and would hold his hand, we would take walks, and just talk!! We had such a special bond as you do with your grandfather Carlin!! This breaks my heart!! Praying that you have many more years with your grandfather!!

Love Mini Fridges !! Im a Paraplegic and Have 1 in my room !! So Convenient !! I keep my Water, Juice, and Sodas in it.!! Helps me so much !!!

Look into pool fencing!! This goes around the pool to help keep the kids from getting into it without your knowledge. My friend’s husband does this here in NC.

The difference between Papa bill then and now it kind of breaks your heart, but I’ve had to deal with family that had the same kind of disease and you just spend every precious moment that you can with them And pray
