THIS IS THE AUDIO I HAVE NEEDED FOR 3 MONTHS OML I CAN'T WAIT TO USE THIS. On the 16/09/17 I gave away my best friend, Because I loved him I was so attached to him both mentally and physically, he was just everything to me, he wasn't just a 12.3hh Australian Riding Pony, he wasn't *just* my pony, he wasn't just a talented showjumper he was my anchor who kept me above water. But I knew in my heart I had to let him go, he needed to be out competing, he needed people to see his talent, to be able to awe at a 12.3hh pony jumping 1m20. I couldn't do that, I was to big for him, I only did a few competitions a year and I couldn't see him often, I loved him so much but I *had* to let him go. The 3 and a half years I owned him and the year before that I knew him were the best years of my life, and to know that he is out there competing above 1m already warms my heart, the girl who has him is an 11year old whose family goes to comps every weekend, rides their horses all the time and treats them as she says "Better then we treat the kids." I will honestly miss Bryan forever but knowing he is at a better home warms my hearts. Goodbye's are heartbreaking but seeing the impact I have made in giving him away makes me happy. Note to Justine - Your audios inspire me so much, and I know it is trully heartbreaking to say goodbye to a member of your family, to your best friend, to your world. But greater things will head your way whether you expect it or not :D All the best Ruby xx

I recently said goodbye to my first pony. I feel you Justine. I cry everyday basically. I loved him. But now I just cry happy tears for how much he taught me. I know that this is late, but I’m sorry.

True friends are never apart, maybe by distance but never by heart. I just recently lost Jolene, my 26 year old AQH mare. She wasn't just beautiful, or intelligent. She wasn't just a horse to be ridden. She was a teacher, a friend, one I'll have till the very end. I miss her light whinnies every morning when I come to the barn. I miss her jumpy, high spirit...and I most certainly miss showing on her..... I miss you old Jo Jo. Rest easy and fly high, your as elegant as ever, like a bird in the sky. R.I.P Jolene, 1994-2020 Btw, I know you weren't seperated by death, am I correct?

I remember when I had to say goodbye to my fav horse. I was leasing her. I did my first show with her. When I went to say goodbye for the last time, my trainer told me they took her a few days before when they were spose to come. So the last time I saw her was when I rode her the week before. When she told me that I cried so hard, I also cried my self to sleep for a few nights. I am still always thinking about her and if she's thinking about me and what she's doing.

I legit cried, my trainer had to put down my favorite pony who was 50 and I thought of her this entire time.

the first time i watched this video was the day before i had to take my first pony who i had for 10 years (had her since i was 3) to her new home and i started crying because this is so true

this got me so emotional because when I had to say goodbye to my first pony she was a mare and would always swing bite kick rear but I went to hug her goodbye and she didnt pull back or bite she just stayed there thank you for uploading this is touched my hear

This reminded me of my horse Alvee, he was the love of my life and I never would be able sleep unless I slept in the barn. My mom and dad turned one of the open stalls into a bedroom and I would sleep perfectly, but if Alvee sounded uncomfortable I would get up and go into his stall and pet him until he was fully asleep. In the morning I’d wake up to all of the horses neighing and snorting and I would take a whole bucket of bottled water all the way to the last and farthest stall just to make Alvee happy. My last day with him was the most devastating day I my life, I woke up and went to his stall and something about his eyes made me burst into tears and I fell to the ground on my knees and he layed down next to me and nuzzled me and I fell forward and put my head on his stomach and when he breathed my head went up and down with his stomach and I started crying again and said don’t leave me not today I’m not ready. I stayed with him the whole day and took him for one last trail ride but this time we went through the lake and not around it and when we arrived back home we both layed in his stall and fell asleep on each other and his breathing helped me sleep and then it just slowed and as it did I fell back asleep then woke up to were he was not breathing and I hugged him and scootched away and sat there crying for a second and then I told my parents. To this day I still have his name tag over the stall and we have his grave right next to my moms horse red. I still cry myself to sleep when I hear the name Alvee or look at the picture of him in front of my bed. I cried while watching this because I need him in my life and love him even though he is not here anymore.💙💙I love you Alvee 💙💙

I haven't nor will I for a long while, own a horse. I ride a lesson horse called mickey because im a beginner-intermediate rider (like if riding was grade school, id be in 1st or second grade) but I love mickey like hes my own. I bought him a halter, saddle pads, a kavellerie gel pad, and treats because I like to think of him as my own, and watching this made me cry. I cant imagine losing my mickey. Thank you.

Before my horse died she struggled to walk over to me, and to keep me there with her. but little did I know that was her way of showing me after all those time she kicked, bit, and pulled away, that she loved me. She loved me more then anything she even tried to fight her sickness for me I know that from when I found her on the ground half way out of her shelter, she tried so hard and still failed....and then gave up.

I love the speech!! I listen to it over and over again, and it brings tear to my eye. But after you were so happy, and you said that you weren’t sad anymore. Then you thought all of us would feel sorry for you. But I feel sorry for your horse because if you love her you would be still be sad. I’m not saying that you should be sobbing you just can’t be that upbeat just after your goodbye speech. And if you really loved her you would never let her go.
