I decided to donate my mac mini and some other desk setup accessories to my father-in-law to help improve his computer setup. In the meantime, I added a few new things to my desk at home.

Looks great. You probably already know, but the 3s cleans up well with a magic eraser. And I love that smart desk mat. Especially as a separate space to check emails on my iPad pro

Great work! Do you miss the 32" size of the Benq monitor now that your using the Apple Studio display?

I honestly do. I think its a very underrated monitor. My only real problem with it was that the maximum brightness couldn't compare to my LG 5K and Studio Display.

I still use the mid-2010 27” iMac, which works perfectly. BTW, I’m in the design industry. This is more about a cliche setup rather than an accurate tool.

Good for you! I was a graphic designer for 15 years and my last iMac (2017) was way too slow for what I used it for. The 2020 M1 Macs feel like super computers compared to the old intel based ones.

Totally understand. If you look at my content I made a setup video about my Mac Mini setup a few months back. TBH I didn't expect this video to do this well so it won't make a lot of sense to others who haven't been following me so I appreciate the watch! Regarding my father-in-law, he is very reserved and never wants to be in the spotlight. But he did appreciate the gesture and is currently enjoying his new setup.
