I’m no pro but I’ll bet he’ll say something along the lines of shifting your weight forward and controlling the bottom of your swing. Easier said than done unfortunately
@scottelder7648
@scottelder7648 10 ай бұрын
I’ve struggled with this the whole time I’ve been golfing. The number 1 fundamental in golf is to control the low point of the swing..basically being able to hit the ground in the same spot every time. This is the main reason why I subscribe to Tom Saguto. Most of his videos are basically, what is the best way to control the low point of the swing.
@Drillbitayler
@Drillbitayler 10 ай бұрын
Just a guess since I can't see your swing, but I had a buddy with the same issue. For him, I noticed he was setting up behind the ball, and then hitting that spot as his low point. It literally could be as simple as moving your ball either back in your stance, or shifting your hands forward (past the ball) at address. I'd try both out on the range and see if either helps. Note that at first ANY change will feel weird and gross. Try it for a good 10-20 swings and see if you don't hit at least one good shot in there. Then you can gauge if this is something that you think would be good to implement long term :)

I’d be curious to hear what Brad’s opinion is on Stack and Tilt. Lot of other things in the set up that needs to be addressed. Such as shaft lean, feet position (toes flared or toes straight), ball position. How far do we stand from the ball? Do we need a straight back or is a rounded back ok. Tons of things to discuss with set up. This being the first video……I think Brad will get dialed in on the instruction!!

Loving the content so far, Brad! Would you be able to use "lead arm" & "trail arm" terminology? I'm a lefty, & it can get a bit confusing with the rights & lefts being flip-flopped. If I'm watching the video as I practice, it's not as tough, but if I watch it, then go to the range/course, that's when memory on right vs left gets mixed up & I've noticed the few teaching pros that try to use lead & trail instead of right & lefty seem to click better for us lefties out here. I can't wait to see what's in store on this channel, your swing is just so damn pure & you're courses mgmt is top notch!

Hi Brad, thanks for this, I have an issue with my bag set up. Firstly I’m a 66 year old female, and hit my 7 iron around 120 carry, but my lowest iron (6) and my 7 wood go almost the same distances. I have the PXG gen 5P irons and hit them sweetly, so I’m wondering whether to replace my 7 wood with a PXG gen5 XP 6 iron which would be 3deg less than my P 6iron. My gen 6 driver goes around 200 total. I’d be interested in your thoughts. Melissa
