Im a beginner but I watched the intermediate section, and I feel like not decelerating on the downswing was a good tip for me even. Thank you

I have a few things i do differently especially that finish, but maybe that's just the difference between being a righty and a lefty playing right handed. That speed all comes from the left hand for me and when I'm chipping well i feel that entire club face in my left hand and exactly where it is. Always wondered how rightys feel it. It seems like a completely different game from 100 yards in especially. Your dominant hand is placed where it cant manipulate the face as easily its just pushing and pulling when youre close to the ball and it never points palm or back directly at the target like the left hand does.

Haha. Putting, the entirety of it all (routine, thought processes/superstitions, stance, grip and stroke), has gotta be up there on most individualized thing in all of sports. I don't feel comfortable if i use someone else's putter even if it's just to try it. It kinda makes me feel like I cheated on my putter and my hand gets kinda clammy😅. So then there's the whole addition of that aspect and individualized equipment then it's the most headspace-y place in any competitive arena (unless I'm the only one with a relationship like that with my putter? But then i can't make a putt and 2 holes later i hit it on a bench and wanna throw it in a lake. So it's an abusive relationship haha). I mean like a kicker have head things going on I'm sure but the ball is the same for everyone and it's just STRAIGHT and it's not as relatable. And pitching I'm sure it personalized and all that but you don't get to have like thicker laces with a different pattern that "feels" better. Maybe it's just me. And if a guy steps ON your line from 4-5' out, but it's uphill and you gotta aim like 1-2 cups right so it's gonna bow towards you and you're into the grain on a wooly green and now there's a big 👣 dent 😠, just over it but brushes off a leaf that you wanted to move but now don't have to 😃, has his shadow on your line and is talking and his shadow bothers you since you missed on the last 2 greens plus he just bitched about some superstitious shit when you opened your beer in his backswing and that's why he fucked up his 40 yard approach 🤨😡. And now you had to yell at him and gotta start over 🤬🤬🤬. But that shadow ain't there anymore and you make it 😒😉😏

A lot of people create false positivity to themselves. I know I’m working in accepting thoughts and letting them pass rather than creating a fake positive moment. Which, like you said, allow more negative thoughts.

Also have a question. I’m intermediate and the only check/spinner I can hit is actually an unopened face, ball back instance, good contact. Comes out low (even with a 60) and skids a couple of quick times and stops

Played 9 today and went 5 over which is a pb for me. Today all I was thinking was hands inside, hit the inside of the ball, and try to draw it. Most greens I’ve ever hit and flyin dead straight. Getting an actual draw is still a rarity but just those 3 things made me gain very noticeable amount of yardage and a dead straight ball flight while feeling like I’m not even swinging as hard.

I greened my first par 4 with my 4 iron and got a tap in birdie. 3 weeks ago I would miss the entire fairway right and short.

I’ve only been golfing for 2 months and I use the chrome softs and like them and I’m pretty sure I’m on the higher end of swing speed but I also don’t use a driver at the moment because the courses I play are lined with houses so take from that what you will… idk what my swing speeds are but my 7 iron is pretty much right on 200 yards if the range I go to is accurate

I think we've all done that at some given how expensive golf balls can be, especially when you're fighting with keeping the ball in play or even findable. I will say that hitting the same type of ball consistently really helps with improving your swing. Even the same cheap ball used every shot is better than a different found ball every shot. Our wallets certainly limit our options, but it's just something to keep in mind.

Good Video. Im a bad golfer in my third year. Im using the Callaway Supersofts...mainly because they are a little bit cheaper and and loose a LOT of them :D Which Callaway Ball would you recommend for someone like me who doesnt even know how to create Spin in my short game and stuggles to get the balls high in the Air? Is the Supersoft the right ball for me or should i try something different?

What would you consider the swing speed range for each ball? I understand slower for the chrome softs but is that like 70-80 mph with a 7 iron? I swing at 90-95 so I’m assuming that would put me in a chrome tour possibly?
