Falkens wild peaks are still a great tire with 30,000 miles on 2019 Ford F250 . In my experience, you can’t go wrong with them on a Ford F250 or 350 and a size 37, 1250 R 18. . They were great when it’s wet, and in the snow, and in the desert in my experience.

I’ve had both these tires on my 4runner. I like the duratracs more for off roading and snow. I do go offroading a lot so duratracs are better for my use case. I seem to have more grip on the rocks with duratracs more than the falken. The duratracs do slip a little when raining but only when accelerating from stop and when it’s on an incline. It also is noticeably noisier than the AT3Ws. I find the duratracs are grippier in deeper, slushier snow compared to the falken

Falkens suck bad!!! Use to have duratracs; switched to falkens because duratracs wear out so fast. Wish I would’ve just bought more duratracs. Inch and a half or 2 inches of slush on the highway and I can’t drive more than 80 km an hour with the wild peaks on;… when I used to drive by everybody at 120 km an hour in the same conditions in 2 Wheel drive with Duratracs. I can’t believe people even put these wild peaks in their top fives or even top 10 lists. They’re crap!!!

I have Wildpeaks and they are great in wet and snow. Mine are down to 4/32's and need to be replaced soon but are still excellent in the wet. I have had them in big snows in Colorado in the past and they were great in snow also. They are also very quiet for an AT tire. My only complaint about them is that mine are pretty much worn out at 31,000 miles. I wanted to try BFG KO2's but all the horror stories about wet traction (same for Nitto Ridge Grapplers) will probably have me going back to Falkens again. I considered Duratracs but don't want more road noise.

I have tried just about every tire from Good Year, Firestone and many hybrids from Toyo, Nitto and Yokohama. The Falkin Wildpeak AT3 has been my favorite tire. Great in the snow, excellent in the mud and very quiet on the hwy where the majority of my truck lives. I tow heavy loads into jobsites and heavy boats long hauls on weekends. It is the best all do tire that I wasn't going to buy cause of a No name brand. I was wrong. I have about 25k miles on them now and they still look good. I Typically get 35-40k miles on my 20 F250 7.3 on all these tires and will surpass the 40k om these Falkins. All tires are 37 12.5 x 20's on a 9" wheel.

Okay so my experience in driving for 31 years in Colorado and where I currently live at 9400 ft and have ran all three tires in question. The absolute worst in snow is the Falken by quiet a bit, in that they have little lateral traction. I don’t know where these guy’s due their winter testing but in storms where it dumps 15-18” of snow I don’t have to chain up the Duratracs or the BFG’s most of the time. The Falkens require chains around 12” of snow to just get out of our community parking lot in our community. I will say in all fairness the Falken used to perform much better before they changed the tread compound as verified by Joe Bacal, who did extensive testing on these. That change took place after 1/20 and before of 1/21. Only think I like is the dirt performance of the Falken. I just purchased a set in March and now I will have to run a dedicated studded snow tires to endure the winter this year unfortunately.
