Thankyou this video is lifesaver for SMEs like us, god bless you! Anyway for those of you who manage your own website with wordpress, there's one tips from me. I was stuck at the first 13.00 minutes tutorial at this video. First I cant find the plugin Google Tag Manager, turns out that the new plugin of Google Tag Manager for Wordpress has changed its name to GTM4. And second once I done the step on minute 12 to 13, my Google Analytics won't track any data. It's says I've to wait 10 minutes, but I've been waiting desperately for hours to wait my Google Analytics working, turns out that I have to ticked the container code toggle to on (while defaultly it's thick in off). It's indeed not on the video because maybe it's the new plugin interface update. Hope it help :)

As of today, 27 Nov 2022 Google Tag Manager for Wordpress is called GTM4WP

What's up Luc; Thank you for the video (including your previous videos I watched). G4 was also new to me but thanks to your video, I am no longer confused and was able to set it up in a jiffy. You make complicated Google things easier for everyone to follow, understand, and implement. Unlike one of your British brother, your speech is normal and natural. You can have the best videos out there. But if no one can understand you nor comprehend because of your fast speech, then might as well not make videos at all. Excellent tutorial there was much to learn and followed step by step how you explained. G4 seems a lot more straightforward to add then the old version. I added to a new website and know have to do the hard work of SEO 🤣 I will start adding G4 to my older website as from June/July Google will require for any website. I am loving this video! It has the clearest instruction on using GA4 I've found anywhere. I am confused though, because at 29:47 you talk about changing to "page path + query string and screen class." I'm not finding this option at all. The closest I have is "landing page + query string" when I click the "+" next to the dropdown. Help? Thank you SO much for all you do!

But what I wondered was whether you open new Gmail accounts for each client or hold then under a "Super Admin" account - I'm wondering as clients may decide to transfer their account management to a new person or run themselves at some point. Hi Andrew. I personally always either create a new account for new client or if they prefer, i can use their own details if they prefer. I always keep everything separate and make sure they are the owners of the listing, just in case they no longer require my services

Hi Luc, thank you so much for the tutorial. This definifitely helps alot! I have a question on the minute 44:40 - where you're talking about the conversion tracking. May I asked what is the reason you setup 2 matching conditions (Event_name, & Page_View & Page_Location, Thank_You) instead of just 1 (Page_Location, Thank_You)? Since we are just tracking the 1 thank you page only right? Can't we just setup 1 matching condition? Hope you could shed some lights on this. Thank you once again for the great tutorial!

Thanks Alexander If you want to track a specific page as a conversion, like your thank you page, you'll need to track that individual page as a unique event first (in this case, page view) then specify the page name (thank you)

when you add a dimension to the user acquistion view, can you save that change so it always adds it when you view the page?

Hi, need some help here. So I’m in Acquisitions>Traffic Acquisition and when I add up all of the channel groups under ‘Session default channel group’, I get a total of 3,837 sessions, but under Sessions it says 3,800. Aren’t these numbers suppose to match like they did in UA? What am I doing wrong?

Using Squarespace, when I got to the step of copy and pasting the code into the back end there was already some code there. I'm not sure what it is. I think it may be FB pixel but I'm not sure. This is a new website and I'm still learning the back end. So, since there is code already there what do I do to properly enter the GA4 code? What I did was hit the return key at the end of the original code and then add the GA code. I don't think this worked because my new GA4 is not working. Please advise. Thanks.

Awesome tutorial Luke. I love it. Just have a question. Does the event tracking and conversions work exactly the same if I verify Google Analytics by pasting code in the header and body section instead of Google Tag Mananger?

I noticed that when you added the google tag manager ID in Wordpress, the radio button that was selected said not to put it in the footer of the page “not recommended by Google Search Console verification will not work”. What do we do?
