This is the only video I could find where they wouln't replace the whole frame of the phone, I mean I don't need to pay an extra 60 bucks for that frame, mine is 5 years old by now but still holding up fine. I love how thourough you are with documenting EVERYTHING. That repair should be easy now, lol. But I'm worried about those cables behind the screen. Your videos deserve more views. If I ever decide to change to another phone and then accidentally break the screen again you'll be the first channel I'll check out for a guide :)

I have a pixel 3a xl with cracked glass, I will definitely replace it with a new or lightly used one. Wow that was a lot of work!

The continued use of the metal and the battery not being disconnected while taking parts out and disconnecting them from the phone. Is asking for trouble

Guess who found one of these the other day in the gutter 64GB pixel 3 everything working no locks or security - factory reset it and its fresh to go however both back and front is cracked screen is fine all works just cracked back and front - but it is IMEI blacklisted what should I do?

Great in-depth video. Question for you, I stupidly pushed the sim tool into the top microphone hole as opposed the the bottom of the phone ! I am an idiot... Based on your teardown is this likely to killed the top microphone. Thanks in advance !

How tightly bonded is the display "frame" the thin plastic that wraps around the front glass, it's loose especially on the sides and I can literally pinch it out with my fingernail? Also putting a case on it lifts the plastic from the sides at times, glass portion is on tight though. I can feel the small gap on the sides when i'm holding it in my hand..

no unfortunately its nothing like previous models.. the connectors for the LCD/Digitizer all run from under the board.. ridiculous design.

Man I've seen some terribly designed phones in my 5+ years in the mobile repair industry but I think this one takes the cake. It's up their with HTC-tier shit design for sure
