After reviewing these lens settings, I think I will keep using the Wide angle, and switch to Linear when I want close-ups. What do you think? Would you want to to switch to a different setting?

I guess your camera is on your helmet ? and i prefer the linear+ horizontal lock..

Actually, no, it's on my chest. That's why you don't see me looking both ways at intersections or checking behind me for cars, lol!
