Bacon and chocolate pizza?! this hotel manager is DELUSIONAL!
Subscribe for more: bit.ly/3bGvXtD
Hotel Hell follows Gordon Ramsay as he travels across America attempting to fix horrid hotels, awful inns and bed & breakfasts where you'd rather not sleep and definitely won't want to eat breakfast.
Gordon Ramsay visits The Keating, a “luxury” boutique hotel in San Diego, CA. The Keating’s supercar-obsessed owner, Eddie Kaen, has blown millions designing the hotel to look like an Italian sports car, but neglected to spend money on things the guests really need.
The rooms are empty, the hotel’s restaurant is failing and the staff have reached their limit, leading to a truly shocking crisis that no one saw coming.
With reputations on the line, one thing is certain: if they can’t meet Gordon’s high standards, they will never check out of Hotel Hell.

My dad, a successful executive chef of 30+ years, experienced exactly what Brian did when the hotel he worked at hired a shit restaurant "manager" (see: nepotism baby) that was overly controlling. He took over buying, menus, staffing, everything even though he knew nothing (he was a failed real estate agent) and it killed my dad and it broke our hearts to see him like that. Luckily, he found another place where he thrived even though it wasn't fine dining. He could create again! Let chefs create! It's what they were trained to do!

Actually what should've been pointed out clearly is that "the hotel is serving the guests, not Eddie. The one that should be satisified is the guests, not only him." The problem here is that Eddie wants everything to be on HIS will, but he didn't realised that HIS ideas and suggestions cannot make the customers happy.
