Beautiful, olive oil in, salt in, beautiful flat surface, amazing, literally, beautiful....nice, generous amount. If you were working on the script for any Gordon Ramsey cooking tutorial that’s about it, if you’re learning English as a foreign language you just have to read/translate those words into your mother tongue and you’re already fluent in ‘Ramsey-speak’

this type of pork is a much looser and more tender meat than your run of the mill stuff. he does that to lengthen it out and also to find the best angle for slicing.

Bacon and eggs may not be the most popular breakfast in portugal but you can still have it here. Amazing cooking as always, and gorgeous sample of our quality ingredients. Even the towel is Portuguese. Love it. Thank you Gordon for showcasing a bit of our small corner to the world.

We actually have an olive tree that is 2000 years old also around the area he is. About olive oil he could have used even more as we do. He made the eggs almost the way we do, cuz we don’t use butter to fry eggs. When I was a chef in Germany everybody asked me to make my portuguese eggs, apparentely all types of eggs taste better if made the portuguese way. 👨🏾🍳🙌🏾

Butter and oil are actually healthy for you depending on your diet.

mas André, concordando com a sua observação, creio ainda que deverá ser dito que nossos antepassados, não comiam bolos e pão ao pequeno almoço e muito menos galões. A comida era a base destes produtos sim. Mesmo algum pão que se comesse não era a torrada, mas pão caseiro que acompanhava um pouco de presunto do bom, chouriço, carne frita, ovos etc. As modas da torrada e do bolo apareceram bem mais tarde, nos ultimos 50 anos para cá.

@@armarques1706 Sem dúvida os hábitos foram mudando mas muitas zonas rurais e agrícolas ainda optam por um pequeno almoço substancial como muitos americanos e ingleses fazem....só acho é piada todos os meios de comunicação e "influenciadores" virem criticar sem terem visto o episódio todo e sem sequer verem a descrição do vídeo....É uma simples adaptação dos ovos com bacon receita tipicamente inglesa com ingredientes bem nacionais cebolas cogumelos secretos de porco preto azeite

@@armarques1706 tipo se perguntares aos teus avós o que eles comiam ao pequeno almoço era tipo sardinhas assados no pão molhadas em azeite e sopa. Mas ninguém gosta de comer isso agora ao pequeno almoço. É como no japão, o pequeno almoço tradicional deles era resto do arroz do dia anterior com sashimi. Agora a malta come uma sandes e um galão.

Chef! everything looks beautiful and amazing except the way you grill the meat. There in Portugal we never grill with flames , that will burn it instead of cooking it, a must for grill Pork. The grill was to hot Tip nr1 spread the coal below the meat. Tip nr2 use vinegar to estinguish the flames 👍
