6:37 is because of willful stupidity in DOTA -- they don't want your hero to auto path around the arena (just like with Kinetic Field). If the arena (or field) was simply an obstacle like a tree or set of trees then when you click past it your hero would just move around with no issues. The devs don't want this -- they want your hero to get stuck. Therefore the barrier is not an obstacle, it simply sets your MS to zero when you reach it. You can theoretically move through it just fine, you just can't move. It's the same type of shit where they put ShadowShaman's wards as the lowest priority possible. For SS wards, they should be highest prio -- the creeps should know they only take a couple of hits to destroy and are a huge threat, therefore they should auto aggro onto them, but again the devs built in this intentional stupidity.
